Im sorry for not updating too often recently but I'm back with some nice shots. Today is Day 58 from seed and Day 16 of Flowering. I havent had too many problems except for the height of the 2 Kandy Kush X Skunk plants that are left. (RIP #3) I never did update on this but I did keep the Bubblicious that I planned on killing a while back. I kept it due to the one male I had. I'm still on the Fox Farms open sesame, big bloom, and tiger bloom on every other watering. I finally found a way to move my light up which was approx 8 in from the tops of the KK x S plants which are approx 8-12 in taller than the other plants. It is now at about 18 in and the light is about 21 in from the shorter plants (BUB & WW) My temps remain around 75 deg F during lights on and about a degree or two cooler with the lights off. (DID DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME F! UP ANYONE ELSE LIKE IT DID ME?? MY TIMER IS STILL ON A 5PM TO 5AM SCHEDULE BUT AFTER DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ITS ALL MESSED UP.
Anyways here is a few group shots of my ladies!

Glad to have you hear. I was just high earlier and ranting about nothing. I am weird and I dont want to adjust the timer so I just let it stay an hour off. Its starting to look good so definitely check back in sometime.

Whats up everyone. Today is day 68 from seed and day 26 of flowering. Things have been going smooth. Too smooth in fact. I am beginning to get paranoid. The paranoia made me move my ducting around by cutting a hole in the side of the tent and putting the duct through there instead of through the top which reduces 2 curves.
Here is a pic.
I noticed I havent been detailing my lst work much. I am crazy about it. I do some training at least 2 times a week just making sure the branches are growing compactly and not spreading outward too much, as free space in the tent is almost non existent. Here is a pic of the craziness I call my lst work. (PS I am using yarn as the material)
Heres my group shot. (the light is really not that crooked, just a funny angle)
Here is my kandy kush x skunk that is the biggest plant by nearly a foot. It is massive. It looks like the branches are nearly tipping over but they are staying p with a little training. I bought bamboo poles but they are not tall enough for these monster ladies. I know I am gonna get about 2 of the other plants worth of bud from each of the KKxS plants.

Anyone care to wager a guess on the Yield? I know I decided to finish with only 1 600W light instead of 2 but I am hopeful for the best.
My best friend is betting me a $100 that I wont get a lb. I definitely took that deal. My original goal was 1oz/each but with the massive size of the kandy kush x skunk plants I am guessing 3oz off of them 2 1/2 oz of the PPP plants. The ppp may not be growing as big as the kk x s but the buds are denser. And then 1oz/ each from the 2 BUB and the 1 WW.
2 KK x S = 6oz
3 PPP = 7 1/2 oz
3 BUB = 3oz
1 WW = 1oz
Total 17 1/2 oz. Just over what I need!!! KNOCK ON WOOD

OK I dont think I am going to start a new journal for this but I am growing 1 x Feminized LA WOMAN seed I got for free from attitude. I am using the CFL 110W light I used for the first 2 weeks or so on the seedlings. I am just playing around here and I am not going to get to fancy on the grow area. All I got in mind is a closet, no lining or anything. Its germinating now but I will post pics as always as soon as I transplant the seed.

Its good to see someone else with the KK x S plant. I am just making a guess on the producing, its way to early to tell. I had the hardest time with it because I didnt know the genetics of it. I got them after the christmas special. Just the regular UFO DNA free seeds that attitude gives away.
I received 5 free seeds. (I was told only 3 but they sent 3 KK x S seeds)
3 X Kandy Kush x Skunk (non feminized which I didnt know until recently when i had a male plant)
1 X LA Woman
1 X Skunk #1
I actually am just starting a CFL grow for fun with the skunk 1 and the la woman. They just germinated today and went in the dirt. I will post pics once they sprout out.
Some advice on the kandy kush and skunk you got:
1. Its very sensitive to my Fox farms nutes. I have never gone past 1/2 strength because it will burn some of the leaves. Nothin too serious, which is why I use a little bit less than 1/2 strength and it works good for them.
2. It is not a full sativa as the leaves look like a cross of idica/sativa, but be prepared for the extra height they will bring. My 2 ladies are approx 42 inches now and that is with the lst training I did which for sure saved me from them popping out the top of the tent.
3. During Veg it seemed to not like the light to be very close but now in flowering it is responding well to the light being closer. Its pretty tough for me to move my light up the way I have my setup now and it is only at approx 7-9 inches away from the light. (I would like it a bit further away but I am procrastinating on that.) The rest of my ladies are around 14-19 inches away. I know to anyone reading this may seem too close for a 600W hps but the big kahuna reflector I got spreads it out pretty well.
It may be kinda late but do you think you will be throwing together a journal of your own?

hey MNG,
i just finished my first grow with the hood, harvested last week(no dry weight yet), but I did notice something, the plants in the corners of the kahuna footprint werent as dense as the plants right next to them. Rotating is a must with this hood. I can honestly say that one plant over from the corners showed about 50-60% more density(to the eye and to touch) than the corner plants. I would have loved to see how much of a difference exactly there was, but honestly after all the trimming and cleaning I had to get the process moving. Good hood, gave me good bud & good density overall. I did have 40" plants tho. I still think this hood would be perfect/ideal for flood tables and short cycles. But it did me well for its first run.

Congrats!!! I am in luck because every time I water I pull them out one at a time, leave them outside the tent lined up, and then put them back in in a completely different order. I agree with it ideal for flood tables and short cycles. I will see how it hold up to just 2 big plants here in about a month and a half. I an going to put them into 2 much larger containers than my 5 gal buckets and I am going to put just the 2 in right after I get done in about 6 weeks with the current grow.
I am not going to do a new journal for that but in about 2 months I will be doing a whole new grow with just 6 plants, (unless I dont yield enough from my one 600W, in which case I will try out both 600W lights on the next grow.)
I will be doing the 4 white widow seeds i have left and the 2 ppp seeds i have left. I wanted to get 1 grow under my belt before I really dove into the WW.
Let me know how that fresh bud turns out. ; /

TODAY IS DAY 76 FROM SEED AND DAY 34 OF FLOWERING
I have switched over to the fox farms cha ching for resin production. On my ppp plants the white hairs are turning a amber red color in spots. Here is a pic.

And as promised clips of the beginning of my cfl grow. Crazy thing happened this morning. My cat, who loves to chew on the leaves in flowering now if she can sneak in there, actually pulled the skunk plant that had just sprouted the night before out of the pot and on the ground. I put it back in but I dont know if it will survive that stress. Its really hard to keep my crazy addict of a cat from sneaking past me though.
OH YEAH, I also looked at the trichomes under my 30x microscope and it is really cool to see. I just have a hard time keeping my hand steady to keep the scope on the leaf. I might have to ask someone I know for assistance on that.

I cant believe how time flys. I will be harvesting the 3 Bubblicious at the end of the month. (8 weeks) Then the 3 PPP will be harvested a week later at (9 weeks)
Then the KK x S and WW will be harvested at (10 weeks)
I followed that link on trichomes someone posted on your journal talking about people being anxious and taking samples when the red hairs are at 10% So I think later this week I will be taking a sample of the PPP.
