My bud has burnt orange leaves and smells funny - Help

Just got my hands on a new batch and while the high is great the bud itself is questionable. It has spindly orange leaves and was not manicured well. Though this pattern is not seen throughout , some nugs are almost white. on top of that it has almost a musty smell. I'm thinking this was just a s***ty cure but I'm also worried that there my be some unwanted elements that weren't flushed. I've started to dry it again but not sure what steps, if any, to take next. Your insight would be greatly appreciated.

Pics would help, tho it sounds like mold to me.
If it is mold I wouldn't be smoking any.

Sounds like mold to me too. Musty at any level is baaaaaad.

Put it in a jar or dry the way youre suppose to.
