Hello, I want some suggestions here:

I know I said I wasn’t planning to do anything too hard for me for now, however I’m a little undecided here because I have 4 plants which were planted at different times. One of them is 10 days older than the rest, which is a bit of a problem because I only have one tent.

I was thinking maybe I could practice some mainlining on the big one, while letting the other 3 grow at their own pace.

The thing is I’m not sure how long it take for a plant to recover from the shock of being topped and trimmed, would 10 days be enough so the rest will catch up without leaving her behind?

While I wait for some responses, here’s a little side picture so you guys can tell me if she looks ready for that kind of training and where I should cut.

I’m impulsive so I did it already.

Red = Topped.
Blue = Trimmed.
Yellow = Fan leaves left untouched.
Orange = Growth tips left untouched.

Ouch. Next time You can just top them and train them when they have some legs to spread. I don’t ever do any of that mainlining (not saying you shouldnt) stuff but I do top once above the 5th node and sometimes I will top them again. Depending on the plant and the space they are in. How big is your tent again?

Hello guys, just wanted to post this photo, this is the end of day 4 since I topped and trimmed that plant.

They look nice and green with good leaf posture. :thumb:

Hello my growing friends. I haven’t posted anything in 3 days and this is day 7 since I mainlined one of my plants so the rest would catch up a little.

Here’s a side photo:

The way I see it, it looks lile it was a good idea not to trim the growth tips on the top, because those are the one that seem to be becoming mains.

Now a family

I switched them up a little after taking this photo, because of the way my led lights are arranged, so next time it will look a little different.

And btw I’m following this schedule for nutes (Note that I’m only using Bio-Grow, Top-Bloom and Bio-Max)

Look good, now let them grow out.

I'm letting them grow as much as possible, eventually I'll separate the pots so they won't be shadowing each other. But I can't let them grow to much because my tent's height is only 40 inches, the pots are about 8 inches tall, and the lights (which are 2 inches tall) have to be 16 inches away from the although 12 inches might be acceptable without any plant suffering.
