My First Journal: GG#4 In DWC & Soil

Coco has very fast growth rate especially with multi feeds. Definitely is the best of both worlds, it's my preferred way to grow. I love that my roots dont sit in a reservoir so they are less prone to issues and it's less maintenance for me DTW then Aero/DWC

Here she is right before her lights went off for the day. Still has a funky look to her but she does look alot better then 48 hours ago. PH 6.0 PPM just under 1000.

Yea she is def a stinky girl and her bud sites are getting nice and fat. Still a while to go but at least whatever was going on seems to be corrected. Looks like the added airstone was the guilty one.

According to the site I got the seeds from, flowering time is around 60-65 days. He is pretty spot on with his flowering times too. I am around day 34-35ish.

The bud sites are nice and green, not affected at all. It's really just those biggest fan leaves. Seems like it's just a little too fast and early. If I was a week more from where I am now...I would not be worried at all. Everything is where it needs to be numbers whys, temps and RH is where it needs to be. She is starting to eat and drink again but the water intake is not as much as it used to be. I was giving her a gallon a day sometimes more.

Yea hoping she really starts to put on some weight. I already had to use a couple yo-yo's to tie her up. Picture does not do justice but I am sure she will get nice and fat over the next couple weeks. However, the soil plant is creating much more trichomes. Going to be a great harvest. The Badazz Og Cheese from Seedsman's is also one I can't wait to bring down.

Some updates. The DWC plant is eating and drinking just fine again. She is not drinking her usual gallon a day. Slowed down alot but she is drinking. She's got some really nice bud sites forming on her that's for sure. I am almost into week 6 now with a good 2-3 weeks at minimum to go. She isn't the prettiest but she will get there.

The soil GG#4 is still in the back right. She has more frost then the DWC plant believe. She is also a week behind on the DWC plant and should be around week 5 into flower.

Yes they are. In my tent with the soil plants all the plants besides the Grand Daddy has nice fat buds. Looks like the GDP is going to take a while to get to the finish line. I am ready to get the new system fired up. It includes me knocking a wall down in my house and extending a closet another 4ftx8 ft in my house.

So I am reluctant to state this because I wasn't able to entirely prove the point but when I ran fox farm in hydro/coco I had that exact same issue with the leaf burn. It started after I was about half way through flower. It was on multiple plants same nutrient mix same grow. I switched to AN for coco and I only use GH in my buckets I know not popular choices but it works for me.

So I am reluctant to state this because I wasn't able to entirely prove the point but when I ran fox farm in hydro/coco I had that exact same issue with the leaf burn. It started after I was about half way through flower. It was on multiple plants same nutrient mix same grow. I switched to AN for coco and I only use GH in my buckets I know not popular choices but it works for me.

Yea I have GH Flora ready for the next run. It's very possible like you stated. Running fine then bam!!! She is ugly now but she is feeding and drinking.

Day 1 of construction. Don't mind the mess. I was knocking walls down today lol. I will be extending this room an additional 3 ft wide. Once I build the frame and add new dry wall the Mylar sheets are coming down. I will be using the reflective foam sheets for the inside. Total size when finished will be 5.5 ft wide x 8 ft long x 7 ft tall. I also will be adding 2 doorways as well. One in the direct front and a smaller one on the left side. The little 2 ft wall on the right was knocked down as well. Just a picture I had got. Lights are off now....updates incoming.

Room looks like it will be nice when you're done with it.

Maybe I am wrong about it being the FF stuff. I just found it strange that mine did it and then yours seemingly did the same thing. I know with the GH it is pretty forgiving. As long as she is back to feeding as normal you should be good to the end. Sucks though you were cruising right along with her.

Everything else looks to going well with your current crop.

Yea she isnt as full as she was before but in a way I like it because now the lower sites get the extra light too. I should only have about 2-3 weeks more until harvest so she should have no problem finishing off.

Frame is built. I also got most of the drywall up as well. I should have it finished by the Monday. Depending how many hours total I get on it. The pallets come in tomorrow.
