i literally pulled the seedling out cleaned most of the soil off of it so it was just the seedling with its roots put it in ffof with some mycorrhizal an wham they blew upLooking a LOT stronger now!
Roots coming out of the bottom is not a valid reason to uppot. I wait until the roots are so strong that the plant can drain all the water I can get the soil to hold, in a day. Then I have a well developed root ball, the whole reason we restrict the pot size, and then and only then am I willing to uppot. Its not like you killed the plant or anything going early like this, but you failed to meet the number one goal of starting in a smaller container by doing so.
Use the soil from your last grow to start your seeds. You're only using a solo cup full. I do it every grow. All i have is organic soil and FFOC...so would using 33% of the organic and the rest FF work? i really dont wanna spend no more money lol
Auto or photo?
I wouldn’t top an autoflower - it can be done but it can also stunt or stall a plant.... but if it’s a photoperiod then yes that’s the right time to top it. But topping does create a delay as it sends strength back down to the roots and then reforms by doubling down on the number of upper limbs or branches but remember that lst kinda does the same thing by shifting the apical dominance and lst prevents the delays. If you are not sure you could probably recheck the seed packet or from seed vendors website.
it will become obvious as the secondary growth tries to take dominance. Its like playing whack-a-mole with the growth, and as soon as one rises up to take dominance, you use LST training to hold it back.how long after topping should i wait b4 lst?

Here are some more details:
- if you top between nodes 4-5 or anywhere higher, you get 2 main kolas.
- if you top between nodes 3-4 it acts like a FIM, you could get 4 main kolas, usually 3 and rarely 5. It also takes longer to resolve than any other topping.
- if you top between nodes 2-3, after waiting for the plant to rise up the 5th node, you get 4 main kolas. This is how quading starts.
I appreciate you right back!I appreciate you em
