the pics aren't the best i know sorry.. i'm getting a digital camera later today after school, these are from my cell and they're kinda crappy

So far so good! :goodjob:
Can you give us some specs such as soil, lights, nutrients, temperature, ventilation? :thanks:
It seems like you understand the concept that more light = more growth. Do you plan on using CFs for both the vegetative and flowering periods?

:peace:

Thanks Dread! ok so here are some specs
soil = Fox Farms ocean forrest
lights = 1 400w equiv cfl, + 4 100w equiv cfl
nutrients = FF grow big, tiger bloom, big bloom.
not sure if i'll use the grow big as i'm putting them on 12/12 lights from seed.
ventilation = 2 5inch fans that hang above the lights pointing in either direction
Temp. = stays pretty consistent during lights on around 82-88 and about 65-70 lights off

Yea i do plan on using cfls the whole way throughout, i'll add more as they start to flower.

Nicely done, looks like you did a little reading up. Great choice on the soil and nutrients. Due to your soil being very hot, it wont need anything but ph balanced water for the first few weeks. I would still suggest using Grow Big at first. Depending on your strain, they wont begin to bud until they are about a month old. Even then, on a 12/12 schedule they will still be growing significantly and could need more nitrogen than the soil has to offer.

You are also going to need a larger fan later on if you want them to be healthy and strong. Circulation is key if you want thick bushy plants! If the temperature goes from 65 to 88 everyday, you need to rethink your ventilation. That much fluctuation between the day/night temperatures can cause stress. A larger fan (preferably oscillating, perhaps a small wall-mount?) would keep the heat down in the day, as well as make your stems very strong.

Also, when referring to the lights: Please use the actual wattage of the lamps, instead of the equivalent value. New growers are likely to confuse the two lights and assume you have 800w of light in there, which is incorrect.
:thanks: and no worries! :grinjoint:

I'm guessing you have four 23-26w, and one 100w?

You should keep a female to clone for summer it's almost here.

Thanks Dread!
I'm not exactly sure of the strain, and i'm a little unclear as to the difference between an indica and a sativa plant, but the bud is mid-grade called mango, very popular in my area. I'm usually away during the day either at school or work, and have the windows closed, so that usually contributes to the temp reaching almost 90..! once i came home and the therm read 91 so i usually open windows at that point. I'll look into getting an oscillating fan this week prob. on thursday.
as far as the lights the actuall wattage is 26w for the smaller ones and the big one or the sun as i like to call it is 100w
A lil backed up with some assignments right now so i couldn't pick up the camera today, it's lights out for the girls right now but as soon as they're up i'll take and post some more pics!

SouthenOnt, that's exactly what i think i'll do, i'm cleaning up another area to keep her in. I'm a big fan of this particular type of bud and am hoping to just keep growing it myself!

Ok so updates!!!! I went out and got myself a nice little camera today and have some new bud porn!, i know i've described alot about my setup but didn't really have much in the form of pics to show well today that's changed! any advice, info, comments are all welcome!

this is on the morning of the 8th day from the day the seeds saw soil.. I've moved the entire grow from my closet, to a home made box that i built yesterday (gotta love home depot) so in any even, i've transplanted to bigger pots and have started feeding with fox farms big bloom and grow big, they've actually been getting big bloom since day 4 and grow big started yesterday...
If anyone has an idea of what i can do about ventilation please let me know
