You have a lot more time left than a couple of weeks... I would guess around 5 weeks left to go, minimum. By then your buds will have bulked up quite a bit.So as you can see well and truly in the flowering there everywhere which is awesome to see for such a small plant. But unfortunately I can't see these buds getting massive but at least I'm gunna have something off of my first grow. Still have a couple weeks left I reckon looking at the flowers under a 40× mag.
Here's a question for you. It maybe me thinking way too outside the box but.... I have a tropical fish tank and have to change the dirty water out. This is full off micro organisms and fish waste my koi dirty water works magic around the garden. Would this also work as a fertiliser??
It amazes me that people who write such things continue to get people to believe them and read what else they have to say. The only job that these plants have is to continue the species, and to that end, develop the buds. Nothing gets in the way of that prime directive, and anything that those buds need is sent there first. If and only if there is anything left over that can be stored (and not everything can be) then it is moved during the night activities to storage centers in the large fan leaves. The fan leaves being there, damaged or not, do not affect the buds negatively in any way, but if a mobile deficiency is felt by that upper growth, those fan leaves are quickly tapped for their resources.Oops I read that if you see dying or damaged leaves during flower remove as the plant will try and keep the leaf and take it away from the bud production.
Yep you nailed it! Very well explained! And I don't want no hermi! Secondly, in a plant like ours with a prime directive as it has, nothing will get in its way. If it feels undue stress and starts to believe that its prime directive may be somehow in danger, it can hermi and try to pollinate itself. We try very hard when in flower to not stress our plants in any major way so that this does not happen, and trimming is never recommended during bloom except in the willfully destructive practices such as defoliation and lollipopping, and more easily forgiven, the practice of cleaning up under the canopy early in flower for airflow and maximum energy to the top.
Third, already discussed... while trying not to move the problem up the trunk to the next leaf in line, keeping the damaged leaves on the plant helps you see when you have fixed the problem.
