N420's Orange Sherbert Grow

Hey 420 This is my second shot at a grow journal and thrid grow overall hope you guys enjoy. question and comments always welcome

I got my seeds from seedsman I dropped all 5 and they all germinated very quickly by far the fastest of any seeds I had dropped before. I put the popped seeds into my pro mix then into 4 inch pots. The next day most of then were above the soil again the fastest of any seed yet.

I put them into my 3x3 tent under the 315 cmh and transplanted them into 1 gallon fabric pots. They were growing vigorously and wanted food soon after they were very hungry plants and were crying for food not long after the transplant. Unfortunately I only have 1 picture of their early days as I switched phones and lost some pictures

After 8 weeks of veg they quickly filled the 3x3 and I was out of room and they needed to be moved into my 4x4 and to be transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pots. They did get root bound but came out of It a couple of weeks after transplant

In my 4x4 they were put under 1 315 cmh and an hlg 135. The 135 is more of a veg light at 4000k but wanted some extra light in the tent without adding a bunch of heat. I do have an hlg 260 on my birthday wish list for my b day next week so hopefully my wife picked up on my not so subtle hints I was dropping her

Looks like you have been busy prepping for the journal for a good start too. I hate journalling the first few weeks as sod all happens.lol feel like that now with the stretch week on my phantom.og grow.lol seeing profs monster next to mine is embarrassing, now you go and decide to grow a biggy. praying the qualining pays off now or i will have to change my name and profile lol .

Thanks guys really happy to have you along for the ride. If my plants turn out half as good as yours I'll be really happy.

I have grown monsters on my last few grows just kinda the way I've done it trying to really fill my space. I am thinking about trying a grow where I only veg for a month then go into flower just to see how it compares to growing monsters.

Update continued

After they were in my 4x4 I vegged them for another couple weeks because they were a little shocked from being root bound and being transplanted. Once they recovered I lollipoped them and did some lst to open them up and get some of the lower stuff to shoot up to get a even canopy and create as many tops as I could.

2 weeks later I put them in 24hrs of darkness then I flipped them into flower. Once in flower they exploded and quickly filled my 4x4

Here we are today 3 weeks into flower. they are about 4ft tall and the stretch as stopped

All the girls together hard to get a decent shot of everyone had to stand on a bucket to get the left and right shots above lol

Couple of bud shots don't have a decent camera best I could do with my phone may try playing around with the white balance on my phone to get some better ones

I'm going to do some defoilation on them in the next few days to try to get some more air flow in the tent and get some of the lower stuff some more light.

I'm going to do some defoilation on them in the next few days to try to get some more air flow in the tent and get some of the lower stuff some more light.

perfect mate. nice forming buds too. nothing wrong with monsters if you can get light and air around. Gets more difficult as the weather heats up for Humidity and mould risks but if your readily prepared...
For me the quadlining is a test of the space for long term ease of use and yield while keeping below the commercial level of room size. now i am using the tsl2000 's i can push for better yield for the space than i was getting from the hps hopefully.

When I opened the tent last night I got a nice scent of orange when did your Os start to smell like orange?

So far so good as far as the heat It's been unseasonably cool so far this year in my neck of the woods. I will be doing some defoilation tonight to help with my air flow because it is packed soild in my tent 5 plants may have been one 2 many but when they all grew so well I didn't have the heart to toss one

It was around week 4 or 5 I think. She's really fruity now but the citrus has become a bit weaker and she has more of a candy scent

She is a tall lanky girl kinda grew like a sativa I topped her once at the 5th node. Once she was bigger and had 4 strong tops I lsted her and put her into flower. She had very few leaves and grew about 12 large colas that needed staking with very little popcorn cause she had so few leaves. She is on the home stretch I'm flushing her and will probably harvest her this weekend

looks a beautiful harvest to come from these ladies amd less leaf is always a bonus on the trimming side of things. They are going to be sweet tasting

Blue cookies Blue berry x Girl Scout Cookies

The Complete opposite of white banner short and bushy had to put her on a couple of drill cases to get her close to the height of white banner. Again topped at 5th node and lst right before flower. She grew buds alot smaller but they are dense and packed with trichs and just stinks like blueberry. She to will get the chop this weekend

The Blue Cookies sounds like what Barneys have tried to create with the Blue Gelato 41. It's apparently a tall indica strain though. I really like blueberry strains and want to find a decent one in the future as a mother. Yours reminds me a little of my Orange Sherberts growth pattern.

Update

Did a defoilation last night and all I can say is those are some seriously sticky ladies I was sticky up to my elbows. I usually use my hands to take leaves off because I find it faster than using scissors I would probably get alot less sticky if I used them though.

Kinda hard to tell from pictures but there is alot more room in there then before and some of the under developed lower stuff should get alot more light now. What do you guys think could I have taken more
