Need Advice - Planted Non-Germinated Seeds Too Deep

Hey,

So I planted two northern light autos around 3 days ago in soil and have since realised that mistakes may have been made. I did not germinate the seeds before planting and having read that seeds should be planted 1/4 inch deep realised that I may have planted them way too deep. Maybe 2 inches or deeper! I feel like plunging my hands into the pots to save them before they rot and die but I need some advice first.

Any advice or opinions appreciated.

Don't dig them out, they may just take a few days longer to appear

Yes! Couldn't resist interfering and so very very gently brushed my fingers across the top of the soil to see a beautiful glimmer of green! Both were literally half a mm from breaking soil lol
