Need help can’t tell if under or over water NL

Just peaked in after lights on before I head to sleep I’m about 1.50” away from the tip of my skewer which is 12”. We will see how she is looking when I wake up and how close I am to the 12 mark

Going to wait it out another day before watering I really want her roots to stretch searching for more water and with no negative signs of stress I think it’s the right decision. Today officially marks one month of growing my northern lights

Hello all I’m going to up date with some pictures later today but I am planning on starting lst today. She is looking good today and tomorrow she is going to get straight ph’d water holding out one more day as I don’t think she is showing signs of being to thirsty all though she has slowed on growth a little over the past two days. Well tied over the main stem almost 90 degrees over and temporarily tied a larger fan leaf out of the way of some of the growth that is forming. Lights go out in about an hour and when they come back on at midnight I will be awake to give them a full gallon of water ph to 6.3 with the only additive of half strength kangaroots and microbe

Well she was defiantly thirsty when lights came on tonight so she got a full gallon and had a nice run off. I took some pics before so I can see how much she perks up by time I wake up. It has been exactly a week since I fed her and tonight she got ph’d water with a half dose of kangaroots and microbe.

Well woke up and checked in on my girl and she had sprung back to life. I had to adjust the tie down on the main stem as she was already aiming for the light again. The new growth sites defiantly had some growth since I tied her down yesterday. I can veg this plant as long as I want so I’m going to keep going until my canopy is almost the size of my big tent which I am going to set up today with the ducting fans and light and move everything over. I will also be scroging her and I just got my scrog net delivered.

Luckily I have 80 inches in height compared to my 50 inches I previously had I’d like to fill as much space as possible with one plant

Last grow I grew my plant out until 25 inches and it finished off right around 40 inches she was real bushy although I had to harvest two weeks early cause I was not set up right for my odor control.

@Emilya not sure if you have scrogged in your grows but what I am thinking is marking out halfway points of total LxW distance on my net and when my plant grows to the marks I will flip to 12/12 if that makes sense?

The scrogging that I did years ago with florescent lights 4 inches away from the top of the canopy, with the scrog screen set at 10 inches above the soil, is probably not what you are describing. Just keep in mind that in a full room you can reach a point of diminishing returns, where the large plants start getting in each other's way, fighting for the available air and light. As in most things in life, the best place to be is in a balancing act, somewhere in the middle ground.

oh! that does sound like an old style scrog then! I got over 1200g from one plant one time under 4' fluorescent lights... where there is a will, there is a way.

@Emilya i just found out I’m leaving for a atleast a week Monday for work. I’m a little nervous about having someone water my girl while I’m gone since I won’t be here and It should be nutes with my next watering should I just keep it simple for the person who is gonna water it and just have plain ph’d water? It shouldn’t need water until Tuesday or wednesday and I’m leaning on having them water it with just a quart of water since they don’t understand the run off concept. I just don’t want to come home to a way over watered plant or way under watered

I would keep it super simple for them and I would have them just deal with plain water, don't even worry about pH... it won't be that far off to screw anything up, and since it will be a second water only watering there wont be many nutes left in the soil to pH adjust for anyway... so unadjusted water will work just fine.

You also should have a decent idea by now of how much it takes to water your plants to where you get to runoff. Have your waterer give 1 quart of it on Wednesday, pushing out that watering as far as you dare... and then if they would normally take another quart to get to runoff, have them give that balance on Thursday. Don't even mention runoff... it will just confuse them.

Then you know the plants have gotten the water they need, and they should be fine until you can get back and give them a proper feeding.

Roger I takes almost a gallon to get run off. Couldn’t be a worse time to get work but I need the money lol this hobby is starting to get expensive

I would then mark a gallon milk jug at the 1/4 and 3/4 points and give instructions to your watererer to give 3/4 on the first day and then 1/4 on the second day. Don't even use numbers... mark the lines First Day, and Second Day. Super simple. No chance for error.
