The plant naturally focuses all of its energy on the top. When you top it the cells still are hard wired for this growth. The transition takes a week or so to re route energy to top foliage. What happened is these r sites for new growth that probably slowed down due to adjustments and the re routing phase resulting in slow growth of split node sites. So now u see odd growth like this. No worries man

One node below the cropped top in the first pic. there appears to be a pollen sack, there are also pistols developed. Hope I'm wrong but looks to be a Hermie to me
