Need help venting glass hood

I am running a 600 watt mh/hps combo with with glass hood but but did not vented it my last grow. Very hot in grow room but was still able to harvest almost a pound under this light. Buds grew big and fat but are lacking some terps that I were present my last grow under cooler temps. I think the heat most likely burnt some of those terps while flowering. If anyone has a thought on this matter please let me know. I have all the equipment needed to do the venting just need a guide as to the best way of venting heat out of room. Here are some pics of the last grow and you can see the veg and flowering results are there just need less heat!!!

It is a room in a house, room is 8ft x 8ft. Can't vent out window as it is blocked from anyone seeing in, but could vent to attic maybe.

I vent into my attic. Popped a fresh air return, small 12x12, vented into that

are you also running a vented hood? What size light do you run? My 600 runs hot and I live in Canada with snow on the roof for 3 or 4 months a year. Will it melt the snow and give me away as to what im doing? It will be legal soon and I do have a med card

I did run the same light, but I'm on the surface of the sun, no snow here so can't help you there

Vent to another room if yer worried

The HPS was just toooooooo hot here on the surface of the sun, this year, or a bit earlier, I changed to QBs or Quantum Boards

Don't vent warm air into your attic in winter or you will have condensation/frost/mold in no time. Once we're legal just have a carpenter install a proper roof or soffit vent if you need to go through the attic with it, but get it outside somehow.

venting direct to outside i find is always preferable.
i know people that have vented into a crawl space area under their house for years with no trouble. i think it works as the space is normally heated anyway. they actually use the heat to defray the cost of running the furnace in winter.
