There is a lot of info on this site regarding the SCROG technique, including quite a few people with grow journals who use SCROG. Just use the search function to find these.
Basically, you would set out the 9 plants in orderly rows (3x3), then create a net above them (height depends on how big you want them) with ~10cm squares.
For 9 plants in a 6x6 space you will need quite a bit of light, I would suggest 600W HPS as a minimum, 1000W HPS as the ideal (rule of thumb is ~100W per plant). In a 6x6 space you may be better off running 2-3 400W bulbs, which would allow you to spread the light out a bit.
