Plants needs a dark period its arguable but doesnt matter if you run 24hrs the plant still shuts down for a lil bit but without the darkness they dont burn the carbs like they do during with lights on and sugars move more freely during the lights off and temps 10 degrees less during lights on is best my autos loved 18/6

And thanks for the input guys I'll definitely start them on a 18/6 schedule it won't hurt them doing it now since they have never been in dark will it

No it will not hurt them specially if there autos thats the love of growing autos you dont have to worry about like changes or power outages

I am going to need another light I'm thinking about adding a few cob led's ...any thoughts?
Oh no, now you've done it! Asking for opinions on lights?! :) That's the easiest way to get 50 replies on this thread...

Lots of good options across the board...LED, HID, CMH, etc, etc. Pick a budget and spend every penny. You get back in yield (and personal satisfaction) what you spend...I personally started with 200W COB from @TimberGrowLights based on a recommendation here...they are a 420sponsor and they make excellent lights...I started in a 2x4' as well and then this winter increased to a 4x4'...so I added a 315W CMH and it also works very well.

Thanks for all the input everyone so here's a few pics of the girls today do they look to be in good health and is there any one type nute that's like a go to or a must have that I should add again im Using the flora series grow, micro, and bloom
