Nev Keeps It Simple While Watching His Grass Grow

I guess I will go it again here with my 2nd Auto tent grow. I took the liberty to get it up and going so let’s see what becomes of it.

2x4 tent
SP3000 Marshydro LED
5gal fabric pots
1) 9” fan
1) 6” fan
6” carbon filter and inline exhaust fan
1) 4” inline duct fresh air fan
3) temp/hydrometer meters. (1 inside 2 outside remote
Premium boutique Ednas Organic potting soil
#8 perlite (bad choice)
Geoflora veg (5-3-4)
Geoflora bloom(3-5-5
Fish emulation (5-1-1)
Epsnom Salt
Cal-mag+ (2-0-0)

The Headliners
2) Sweet Seeds Dark Devil autos
1) Ace Seeds Chocolate Skunk auto

I started soaking Sept. 20th about 18 hours then transferred to the paper towel method. On 9/23 moved the seeds to their amended final grow pots and covered very lightly with soil.
On the 25th the C Skunk had broken soil. On the 26th the 2 DDa’ were showing their helmets just above ground and the CS was was about an inch up.
Now Sept. 27th the CS has her 1st set of true leaves and the DDa’ seemed to have stalled out.

Sept. 28th DDa’s are DEAD. Dang! Here I go again. Starting 2 more.

Bare with me I‘m not real savvy on the tablet and I have a bit more to download and catch up though today.

Sept. 29th I got 2 more DDa’ going and dropped in the soil. Not sure what happened to the first 2 but they just broke ground and stopped. Maybe I over did them on the humidity, but I hate having to keep loosing seeds at this stage.
Oct. 1st the Chocolate Skunk has her 1st full set of true leaves so I start the count at Day #1

Both DDa’ are up needed help with the helmets on both. The cotyledon leaves on both are not right and look to have a film cover on them. I got a q-tip moistened it with water and got the film covering off both seedlings and they look much better now.

Oct. 3rd the CS looks just a tad lanky but I like it.
The two DD’ are showing some leaves. Huge improvement over the last two.

Oct.4th Everyone got a small watering today as the pots are extremely dried out. I also gave a fish Emulsion foliar spray on all the plants.

Oct. 6th The Chocolate Skunk is growing very nicely and the 2 DD’ are getting some growth but 1 much more then the other. The one looks just a little wonkie.

Oct. 8th Today will be the 1st feeding of the Geoflora veg (5-3-4) 1/2 cup to the CS and a1/4 cup each to the DD’. All pots were all pots were amended with GF veg prior to planting.

Oct. 11th Well I see it starting again. Some yellowing taking place on the Chocolate Skunk! Seriously what is this? I immediately mixed up some Epsom salts 1tbl spoon to the gallon and dosed all the plants and then hit them with the fish emulsion foliar spray. No Cal-Mag+ at this time. Going to see what happens here.

Oct. 13th I planned from the beginning that this would be an aggressive LST on the Chocolate Skunk as @Grand Daddy Black said his CS grew pretty tall with his DDa’s. Besides I enjoy aggressive LST and flat top plants. Let the tie downs begin
Also the yellowing of the CS already looks to be improving but now the tips of the 2 yellow leaves are showing like it is a nute burn. But I don’t believe it can be. Not sure about that yet.

Oct 14th. It’s day 14 on the Chocolate Skunk and she looks to have taken to her 1st session of LST very well.
The DDa’s well one looks to be doing just fine and has a very thick stock on it and solid compact side branching. The other is struggling to look normal. Everyone gets some fish foliar spray (3-1-1)

The SP3000 led has been running at 50% at about 20” from the soil. Today I turned it up to75% at 20” from top of plants. The LUX meter shows a 34-35 reading. I’m not real sure where it is best at this stage.

Oct.16th. The CS is looking nice and is ready for the @Carcass stakes. Its going to get real now.

The good Dark Devil is now a beautiful specimen of a plant big thick stock nice side branches and on third node with excellent color.
The 2nd DD is still struggling to get a true set of leaves.

This is going to be a fun grow as I’ve wanted a go at the DDa’s for awhile now.
And yes I ruin shit that’s why the rugs over the carpet. It’s the detail.

Oct 18th. LST is going good on the Chocolate Skunk and she has all cleared up from the yellowing.
The DDa is growing like crazy. What a beautiful structure to her. It wasn’t planned but she is growing so well I’ve decided I’m going to top her. Her 4th node is up good so I’m lopping her fight above the 3rd node.

Oct. 20th. This is a big day. Everyone is up for the second feeding of GF veg nutes. 1/4 cup for the mutant everyone else is a full dose of 1/2 cup each. I also noticed I had added some Cal-Mag+ at some point in the last week because I finished water jug with it today. They all took quite a bit of water with the nutes today with very minimal runoff.
The CS got more work on her LST but what also was not planned is I’m going at the Dark Devil with the same aggressive training the Skunk is getting. She’s growing so well I’ve got to take it to her.


As far as the Mutant go’s she’s kinda growing but looks like a pile. No true leaves but is larger.

Oct. 22nd. That’s today and I’ve caught up to the calendar.
Day 22 on the Chocolate Skunk and some more training.
Day 15 on the Dark Devil and the Mutant. That’s even if the Mutant has had a day 1 yet I’m not sure.
The DD got in some good training the last couple days also.

Well your Chocolate Skunk looks Well. I am also extremely excited to see this plant, I have yet to hear of this strain. Curious for a smoke report in a few months also!! The mutant...well...give it time...I am in the middle of a dud seed grow and she was difficult but turned into a beautiful little lady. You never know. I'll be following along!
