University Mall has a new store called Hempster's Stitch next to Victoria's Secret. The shop is owned by founder H.E. Kelley Jr. and his partner, Robert Sutherland, both of whom are from Pensacola.

"We are an ecological specialty shop, dealing with 100 percent hemp, bamboo, and organic cotton products. Our products are all eco-friendly," Kelley said.

The 2,700-square-foot store has an inventory ranging from men and women's clothing, including shoes and hats, to fabrics, kitchen towels and even soap.

"My passion for hemp and my disgust for de-forestation led me to open up the Hempster's Stitch, built for the people of Pensacola in hope of being a leader in protecting our natural resources," Kelley said.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
