New grow

just starting

Well-Known Member
Well the new grow is looking great so far. All the seeds in this grow were all the freebies I had from previous orders. I wanted to try new plants and hope that one really stands out that I like. The plants are, Big bud, Great white shark, Blue cheese, Three kings and white strawberry. They have been in Flowering stage for about six weeks and the hairs are just turning red. I tried something different this time mixing my HPS lights with my LED to see which one does the best and they really look good to me anyway. A matter of fact I have had to add supports due to the buds leaning over so much. I will add a photo and if anyone can see anything that I might not have please respond, all help wether good or bad is very much appreciated thanks and keep puffing.

That’s a nice start? And welcome to the show my friend. It looks like u got it covered but if something
Bad Pops up someone’s always around that can help or guide u to someone who can. Pictures help.

Fellow smokers if you have never grown bubble gum kush you might be missing out. I dont want to be that guy that runs before he can walk but .......... if this stuff smokes half as good as it smells heaven awaits us all lol. This is the sweetest smelling buds I have ever had the privilege to rest my nose on. Everything is covered in thick sugar and I have to keep telling myself.. patients smoker patients it is not ready yet. If I was not married for 31 years this would be my new sqeeze.
P.S dont tell my wife that, like this bud she is very sensitive lol. I have posted this picture all ready but just cant help myself to share and give you fellow mine blowers a name that I think would be a great smoke. This was just one seed that was a freebie I decided to try. So peace out and remember life may be good but when you smoke life is great.

Looks good. Lots of people forget the sweet part of Bubble Gum. It is always there. The bubblegum smell and flavor is hit and miss but sweet is always there. I have Bubblisious going right now just because it is a sweet indica. Not because of the bubble gum flavor.

Good luck with that tasty looking bud you have.

Well we are back with the latest up date. It has been two weeks since I last updated my grow and we are getting to the end game. The hairs are turning red but the size of these buds have just exploded in size, some of these are the size of beer bottles. I really feel that mixing my LED with the HPS light has really helped in yeilds or it could be my wishful thinking but these buds are literally two to three times bigger than anything I have grown and just covered in sugar. I hope they smoke as good as they look and smell. I just need to be patient and do a good dry and cure on them. If anyone can see anything I could do better after looking at the pictures please speak up good or bad I am still learning and appreciate anyones input.

Nice work!!! Those are beautiful!!! Looking good for your first run!

Well finally the time has come. Some of my plants are still drying and some are in the jars just starting to cure. The last time I cured them for one month and they were very smooth so that is the time I will cure these for, with the exception of trying a tid bit or five for myself here are a few pictures of the dry and cure. PS excuse the smoke room.

Wow! That's a Nice Set up and Beautiful Buds.Looks Like I Could Learn a Thing or 2 from you. What State you Located? Have Fun!

Interesting handle you have there Jackalope Strain. Is there a strain by that name now? A few years ago I was planning on crossing Jack the Ripper x Cannalope Haze and calling it that. I never got around to it lol.

Michigan, If I learn one thing about growing it is patience. I bought a jewery scope and really keep a sharp eye out in my Trichomes. Not sure if the spelling on that is right but anyway when I start seeing them turn the rust or amber color I start my harvest. It seems to get a smoother smoke ( for me anyway ) with really good flavor. But the lighting I feel is the life of your plants. I have a 600 watt HPS and four 400 watt Rolando LED and I mix them up with both lights on them. Using the HPS as a over head light and mounting the LED,s on the wall sideways to give the plant both types of lighting. To me this has really help the plant produce great tasting buds. Now this is just my personal opinion and there are many more experienced growers than me, but I have wrote down everything in the past three years of each grow and found out this has really jumped up my grow by volume and quality. If anyone is interested my last grow the GODSGIFT strain was a really suprise strain that was very smooth, this time I planted a free seed called White strawberry I think from G13 labs ? And it really had a good smooth flavor if anyone wanted to try a few different strains.

Here is a picture of a curing bud ( White Strawbery ) and my last plant that is ready to harvest. The back ground plants are Purple Haze which by the way is my favorite, it has a good taste and the bud is all pruple and looks really cool.
