New grower in small town

Your pictures show only 1 fan circulating air inside the tent. Lots and lots of air movement helps plants transpire more. More water, more nutes, more growth.
It is unlikely that you will get amazing results by being timid.
You must have seen old pictures. I started out with a 2x2 tent and have since upgraded to a 4x4. I have two 6 in clip fans and going to figure out how to move one of the fans down lower to blow up and I have a 6 inch inline fave I want to rig up to blow downward. As far as a dehumidifier, I am trying to conserve my electric bill as much as I can. Right now things are really tight. So for the meantime I am using dehumidifier bags. Once I get back to work running one won't be a problem.

Can anyone tell me why my girls are so thin

Hi everyone, my name is Gypsy and this is actually my second time growing. The first time was when I was 14, but that didn't last long. My step dad plowed them down with the mower. Took me almost 45yrs to try again. This is going to be one of my new hobbies. I am a soil grower using miracle grow soil, and from what I've read in the forums i have been doing this the hard way. I just spent over $160.00 on nutes i don't need. I have the flora series, dry and liquid koolbloom, ph down, and a couple other things. Pretty much everything for a hydroponic setup without the hydroponics. I do have a 24x24x60 tent with 1000w light. I am using water spring water, but, the one thing I do know is that I can use all the help I can get. I did want to post a pic of my girl but it won't let me.

Welcome aboard

Phosphorous. Potassium.
Everything you do will fatten them up including time. In the beginning you said you had $160 worth of nutes, there should be some magic in there.
Easy on the nitrogen, heavy on phosphorous, keep the potassium coming. Magnesium is good now.
Some brands of molasses are high in mineral content, this will cover all the bases you might have missed. Start with 1 TBS of the good blackstrap molasses per gallon and go to 2-3 towards the last 2 weeks. Good blackstrap molasses has 450 to 600 mg potassium per TBS and the rest of the minerals you want are in there as well

See if you can find a fertilizer company that has a feed schedule and mimic what they say for the week you are in.

I have Sylica, flora trio, floralicious plus, thrive, ph down and calmag. What do you think I should use?

Careful to take advice from me. "The footsteps of the farmer are the best fertilizer." I step all over my plants and some of them survive till harvest.
LOL I checked out the link myself and it says when using the trio nutes all I need is calmag (optional). So I will try it out for a couple feedings, then go from there. I can always go back to the other way.

Good Morning @Gypsy58

The trio and cal-mag will work, I have done it before.

Have you harvested your last ones?

I was wondering if you would be growing anything inside during the colder months?

Stay safe, and grow well my friend,

Tok..
Right now I am still on the two little ones. I'm thinking the end of November. My first one got mold so had to send her back to the ground. Then found out i could have wash her. Live and learn I guess.

Hey Yok,
What's your thinking about growing in the colder months. My current situation puts me into the some of the cold. Issues?

I’m not sure where you are in flower, and I grow in hydro not soil but use similar nutes. I’d caution against tossing silica in general out simply because I had nothing but problems with branches splitting and falling under the weight of the buds if I don’t use silica. I use Liquid Koolbloom to add weight for the last couple of weeks before harvest, and also use FloraNectar (which you should be getting from molasses basically). I’m in RDWC so I try to avoid dumping molasses in my system lol…. I would say they will fatten up nicely about 3-4 weeks before harvest….

The girl with the bigger buds ( bonnie) is the youngest at 9 weeks and the runt is at 11 weeks. A couple of the branches are getting hard, almost like they are brittle.

As the plant matures the stems should harden up as part of the flowering process to help hold up the weight. Only new growth areas should be softer, and you probably haven’t seen any of those in a while since you are in flower for 9-11 weeks. Are these both the same strain? Are they clones of the same mother? If not, there can be significant genetic phenotypical differences the affect yield significantly. The only time I get ‘rinse and repeat’ results is when I am growing from clones, never from seed. I don’t even qualify my totals when I grow from seed since I had very little to do with actual yield. Hope that helps - it looks healthy overall and like I said they should fatten up in the last couple of weeks which looks like you are in?

Is there anything I can do to thicken them up a bit more

bigger pot. better feeding for that bigger pot. but mostly light. a lot lot lot better light.
that's for next time.

at this point nothing though.
hang in and hope for the best. you're doing bangers for a second shot.

it can take a couple to really dial in. :)
