New Grower: Need Advice Please

I use GH nutes, and Sunshine #4 Mix(Home Depot). Very forgiving method, and simple. Get pH strips to test your nutes, and lose that meter. A 1500W led may only be 250 real watts, or so. 18 inches if that is right, or even less. I run a 1000W DE HID bulb at about 20 inches.

Here's my current GH/Sunshine mix Scrog(my first), 3 weeks into 12/12. I only use the Grow, Silica, Bloom, Kool Bloom, and Floralicious grow and bloom by their schedule. 4 plants in photo on 4'X4' frame.

Beautiful plants! Appreciate the input. I’m going to try this. Have some autoflowers coming. These were just random White Widow seeds. Got 5/5 to germinate but know I need to learn how to grow successfully. I’m following your advice and the advice I’ve gotten here combined. Much appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

A lot of folks cut their teeth with their first ever grow in soil and learn from there.
Soil is more forgiving and you would have a better chance of ending up with some smoke at the end.

Welcome Cowboy. You should be watering coco daily until you see runoff. Coco is a hydro grow so don’t worry about your soil always being wet. It’s very hard to be overwatering straight coco if you have perlite mixed in it. Which brings me to a question do you have perlite mixed with your coco. Also PH is crucial when using coco. And less nutes is always better for a new grower. After some experience start experimenting. I use General hydroponic nutes just like yours. I ph between 5.7 and 6.2 for veg, and 5.8 to 6.3 during flower. I’ve attached a pic of a feeding schedule I used my first few grows and it worked just fine. I’ve also attached a few pics of plants in coco and using General nutes. Coco becomes very simple after you get the hang of it. Good luck my friend!

Yea sorry about that. I’m not much of a gloating person! Was trying to pass along some info. When I was new , I relied on info from others on here tremendously. And now that I’m thinking about it, I guess only one pic would have been needed to show that’s a nice setup! Stay stoned my friends!!

This is my baby at 38 days almost from seed. Looks To be slower growing imo its also my first time but my friend as said before read up alot more canabis is not like other plants.

I have ran into many issues since i began my grow and you most likely will have more issues.

Use a soil instead of coco if you feel it would be better for you.

Ask alot of questions my friend.
