Hi, new here this is my first grow and could do with some help, plants are just over 1 week old but there not looking to happy the leaves are starting to curl inwards and I'm unsure as to what Is causing it, there in plagron batmix soil no nutes yet, only being watered with bottled water as the water in my area Is heavily chlorinated, is there anything that would cause my leaves to look like this would it be because I haven't fed any nutes yet?

Fist pic kinda looks like heat stress maybe light to close. When a leaf tacos it is trying to shade it self from over heat caused by light. Maybe raise light a few inches.

That may be quite a good possibility, I had the plants in solo cups but noticed the tap root was about to grow out of one of the drainage hole, so I repotted into a bigger pot which moved it up closer to the light around 4 inches away, I didnt think this would matter as they only have a 50w cob above each plant but I will move the lights higher and see if this helps improve things.

Going to need more info

Hi sorry if I didnt provide enough information I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to all this.

What other information would it be helpful for me to supply?

Young plants more sensitive to too much light or not enough light in your case I would guess to much. Wish you the best take care and please post a update in a few days

Welcome @Deelee

@CO Finest is absolutely right - this is definitely heat stress. It's not so much about the amount of light it's giving off, it's about the heat from the light. 4 inches is WAY too close for any stage of growth.

So I took your advice and moved the light higher, the plants seem to be thriving now, I had to repot again as had a root trying to escape the bottom of the pot again so there now in 11L pots, everything looks good apart from the leaf in the last picture its growing kind of strange the thin leaf that you can see appears to be full of white hairs, any ideas what's wrong with it?
Thanks for all your help, my plants would of probably burned to death if I didnt move the light.

Oh good!

This is why I love the 420mag family. So much knowledge here and everyone holds each other up.

Damaged leafs will not heal. When you make adjustments you keep a eye on the newer growth to see health. Just give it more time I am sure your plant is going to show you it is good to go now just make sure not to over water easy when in small pots just lift them and make sure they feel empty with very little weight. Happy to hear you lifted light. I will keep a eye on your updates.
