New to Coco Coir

I recently purchased some coco coir online for a good price. I learned that my BPN Farmers Pride can be used in it and it is much cheaper than driving 30 miles to the hydro store to get FFOF.

I plan to make a 50/50 mix of coir to perlite. I will also add crushed dolomite lime and the root magic from BPN.

My question is will that do for a base planting mix? Will I just be able to add my nutes as I normally do like in soil?

I think that would work fine, I have seen other people use that in their grows. And yes, add your nutes like you usually do. I am using coco and BPN Part A and Part B. Have had no problems, don't think you will either.

Not sure if u wanna add lime to coir. It should be PH stable (a quality brand at least). What brand u using? I've used it as an ammendment many times but only grown in it once. Here's a link to a great looking coir grow. Check it out ThatBoyDean's Coco Grow Hope this helps bro.

Please follow BWC advice about the lime since I am new to using coco. But I seriously did think I read somewhere someone used lime with coco but I could very well be mistaken. I am a novice grower and BWc is much more experienced than I am.
