New to DWC hydroponics and cloning

Hi i have just set up DWC and have a clone from a healthy budding plant that had just had the bud trimmed off that day. And kept the plant alive as it is an outdoor.
My Question is will my clone survive being off a budding plant, it has 4 nodes but no 'terminal shoot' and it is in rockwool with root hormone in my tent under 75% humid and 24.C
3 days old and very yellow leaves.

Welcome to 420, don’t give up on the clone just yet. It is not only rooting but in a state of reveg, it could take awhile

Might have enough space for two small plants in the tent .i can grow out side for the next 2-3months then it will be too cold.

Minimal growth has begun, leaves all curled upward and browned off completely so I did what’s they say not to and cut them off. Pretty sure they were completely used up.
Also I have used 1/4 strength of professor nutrients in a gravity fed dripped to keep the surrounding area moist and the bucket is forming a waxy layer on the surface , is this something that other growers have experienced?

Fixed this issue with a full system clean.

Switched to coco coir , peatmoss , vermiculite . Started fresh..
