i have a 48x24x48 grow tent. what size led full spectrum should i use. i was thinking about getting 2-300watt full spectrum led grow lights but i aint to sure. please help.

I know the marshydro 300w has about a 2by 2 footprint for veg for flowering 2 by 1.5. Unsure what lights you are looking at. But post up and I am sure people will chime in.

i am looking into getting 2 of the mars hydro 300watt or maybe a mars 600watt. ive never growed indoors. i use to grow outdoors.lol

these are a set of leds i found on amazon. im also lost on why it says output is 300 but actual is 120. the light specification:
LED Output Power:300W
Actual Power :120W
LED Quantity:100PCS x 3W LEDs
Wavelength Range:380~800nm
Input Voltage:AC85V~AC265V
Frequency: 50/60 HZ
Package size:360x260x120mm
Gross Weight:2.3KG
Warranty:3 years

100PCS x 3W LEDs, brighter than other LEDs. 3W high power Par Value ensured, high lumen, high brightness. Long lifespan for growing indoor/greenhouse plants.
2 cooling fans, better heat dissipation than other 1 cooling fan grow light. Light won't generate any ultra heat even works 18hrs a day, keep light has longer service life.

I have a similar size tent
2 x 600w Led
2 x 48in 55w sunblaster
6 x ak 47 12 -12
3 CK Early Miss Auto in flower
working good so far

4 x CK Early Miss Auto outside

These are under 3 mars 300w. 18 inches from canopy. Space is about 2by6

naw dude im working with a 2ft wide by 4ft long area.

hey kimrjw what's your budget? Generally speaking the more you spend the better you get. And with LED you want to buy something that will least you a really long time.

Oops misread tent size (2 much weed & no glasses on) my tent is a bit bigger. If I were to get new lights I would try something else, hps ect. LED have to be close to plant for penetration, this lowers the light coverage. am not an expert but 2 x 600 led will prob do it, but do what you can afford.
