NewB Grower Going To Need Your Help
 
Iam also running coco, 4 kushberry an 1 sour D. There's 2 ways I've seen to grow in coco so far. 1 treat it like soil just water an feed as it needs, 2 treat it like hydro, water it 2-3 times a day or more. Seedlings I start at strait ph water after the first set of leaves get about an inch wide I start 1/4 dose nutes (full dose calimagic) an slowly work my way up in dosage over the weeks. If ur going more hydro u might not want to use peat but instead try perilite. U want the drainage. An u can put ur seeds directly into coco with no issues. I usually shot glass till seeds crack then strait to medium. Ph water, cal mag of some sort along with a good hydro neut an u should be underway no problem. Oh I use strait coco ATM an I find it stays pretty damp with 3 watering snug my girls r tiny. Hoping the water holding ability Gona benifits me more as they get bigger. This is just how I do it an works for me so I thought I'd share. It's my first time in coco but I e done weeks of research online to figure out what best works for me

I've only feed them once a day,
290 ppm
5.89 ph
It's a light mix of fox farm bloom and grow, superthrive and cal-mag.

That should be ok, Iam not sure my ppm atm Iam still a lil ways away from z meter but the numbers I believe r about what u want at this stage. There's not a lot of info on coco an what lil there is it's all over the place in what to do an not to do. So far if ur plants r healthy keep doing what ur doing an we can all learn :) Iam taking my coco grow 1 day at a time. Ur doing more of a soil style grow where Iam trying more for a hydro style should be interesting to see where both end up :)

I am watering once a day ATM do worry about it staying wet but watch some videos on it and says the wetness shouldn't b a issue the pot should stay heavy. I kinda dialing it in on my first grow and what works best for me m gonna run with. I will say every way I done it all the plants are thriving. Coco is jus a great medium I also mix perlite for drainage. I want to treat it like hydro I believe if ur gonna treat it like soil then why not jus grow in soil. Just my two cents. There are many approaches I find u should dial in what works for you. Know your strain also different strains like different things!! Great growing!!

Well treating coco like soil still gives u faster growth (from what I've seen, read an watched) but ur right it's finding what works for u. But if u do something an I like the idea an it worked for u chances r I'd give it a try. Can't make scrambled eggs if u don't break a few eggs ;)

You are so correct!! M with you cause I m learning everyday. My plants are doing good but its all bout making them better. I have three plants and one I water with no run off one I water with twenty percent run off and the other m gonna treat like soil. Doing experiment s is great. I learn best by doing. But also learn a lot from what others are doing. M still a noob that's dialing my style in.

U want run off cause of salt an nute build up. Or what Iam trying even with run off is I water 3 times a day, feed, feed, ph water full calmag. An I make sure to have plenty of run off. It is one thing I've seen everyone says to do.

The 4 in the corners r kushberry from peekseeds 1 week old the middle is my sour D from blimburn 2weeks an 2 days. The D was in soil I had to wash roots an moved to coco that's why bottom leaves r yellow an miss shaped. Moving them all to 1gal fabric pots soon an diesel will be going under 400w mh. Just waiting on my 1000w ballast to arrive for my flower tent
