Newbie Questions About Hydro/Aero

Hi guys,

I have a few dumb questions about Hydro/Aero systems, as I am just starting to learn about them.

Does this type of system run 24/7, and if so, how much water evaporates from a 6 gallon reservoir assuming a room temperature of 76 and humidity of 58%?

How low can you let a 6 gallon reservoir get before you have to top it off with more water to keep it running efficiently?

Is this a daily maintenance system or can you get by with weekly maintenance?

with a 6 gallon rez u r lookin at every other day. i suggest at least 15 to get a weekly check, but there are lots of other things involved in the matin
which may require att. to. a good meter will help alot to min. matin.

I have aero / dwc with a 18 gal rez. The pumps, water and air run 24/7. I top off water and nutes every day. If I do miss a day i'm sucking air into my water pump not very good. Because my mommas drink so much water it makes my dehumidifier work o.t. also I would make the rez as big as poss. hope this helps
