Almost, but not really. They were topped and the lower node/nodes were removed, and then they've been trained to grow like a cross. They look almost like they've been mainlined. Mainlining require 2 or 3 toppings which I don't want to do on autos. With one topping, the plants can still grow massive. If I were to top them 2 more times, they would take longer to finish, and they might get small and yield less.
I'll take a couple of pics later so you can see how they've been trained and how they grow.

Day 19 of flowering. She's a happy girl at the moment.

Thanks guys!
I'm a bit concerned about this beautiful lady though. In 3 days I'll move house, and I will have to pack this girl up and try to squeeze her into my car. And in my new place I'm not sure I can fit the tent, and I might have to put her on the outdoor terrace.

Day 58 of flowering
So, the Gorilla got to stay in the old house for a little while. I go there every 3 days to handle feeding and check on her. We've had some heat issues, and some leaves are discoloured, but I think she'll be alright. She's fattening up nicely.

This baby is pretty big, she'll give me a decent yield. The buds are massive!
However, she's full of white mildew, and today she got a good vinegar spraying. I might give her a dose of baking soda in a few days as well. I will definitely wash the buds when I harvest in about a weeks time.

Thank you. I'm still learning and try new things. I have some ideas I want to try for my next grows.
Yes, the gorilla doesn't like the heat at all. The Critical plant that was next to her was so much happier.
I think the yield will be great, but she's not as sticky as I'd like. I think that's due to the heat.

Yes, when I started to grow I had no idea different strains could behave so differently.

So, I accidentally harvested a gorilla branch today. I gave her another dose of apple cider vinegar and I had to move the branches around a lot when spraying. She's got twice as much space now after I harvested the Critical plant next to her, and not so much support from the tent walls, so the heavy buds show me that gravity works. I can't be bothered with yoyos or strings now when she's only got a week to go.
Anyway, this branch hung over at the wrong direction and snapped. Luckily it was just one of the smaller branches. I was going to cob the whole plant, but I think I'll just dry this branch. I will try a bud wash and see what that'll do. Off to buy baking soda and lemon juice now...

Day 68: She's been flushed for a week, and today she got a third spraying of vinegar to fight the white mildew. It's working and most of it is gone, but still a bit so more vinegar...
Going to buy buckets and more ingredients for washing the buds. I'm not keen on a gorilla that smells of vinegar.
