Hi All,

I need some help w my lady.

Specs:
- Coco Coir / perlite (75% / 25%)
- strain: Diesel ryder (auto)
- nearly 3 weeks from seed
- 400w MH bulb running at 360w @ 6500k
- plant at approx 30-40cm (about 1 foot) from light source
- watered daily w/RO water, PH~6 EC<0.1
- first feeding 2 days ago (approx when pics were taken) EC~0.4

Problem:
- 1st set of serrated leaves turning very light green (almost yellow). There might even be a reddish hue to them. And they're drooping.
- 2nd set of leaves are turning brown on their tips.

Calcium and/or magnesium is my suspicion, but could it be showing this early?
Or is she just hungry?

She was in a translucent cup until yesterday when I realized it could be the source of my problems.

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Hi N.B.B.

They look like they need some fertilizer.
I keep my coco wet, watered/feed daily with 20-30% runoff.

Re: Noob coco grower needs help.

Yes, they look hungry to me. I usually start a mild feeding at 5 days from sprout since the coco doesn't contain any nutes. Just keep up the feeding and they should perk up in a few days. By the way, what nutrients are you using?

Good luck with the coco grow!!

Thanks ConqueringLOJ and CocoJoe!
I guess she's just hungry then.

I'm using AN micro-grow-bloom at 1/4th strength.

I'll continue feeding her and we'll see what happens.

Do either of u have experience w dolomite or lime?
I don't have access to calmag.

:thanks:

Your plant is ready for 3/4 to full strength.

I use cal/mag, but some strains won't need it.
