Noob question

I just got a glass bong for the first time, and after I load a bowl, the first hit seems to suck all the weed down. If there a way to prevent from happening? You don't put a screen in a glass bowl right?

Don't suck so hard....

You can put a screen in the bowl, that or just load a "single hits" worth in the bowl each time if it draws that hard (don't have that problem with my bubbler, as don't have enough lung power anymore to use bongs personally).
