Normal Light Socket?

This is a link to an HPS 150 watt id like to purchase. Would it need a ballast or would this 55V bulb fit in a normal socket, say that i would put a CFL bulb into? A normal house outlet? HPS150MED - High Pressure Sodium - Bulbs - USA Light & Electric

Nah I went there today and to lowe's to price. No gotti. Guess i'll just save up and order online.

industrial electric supply also carries ballasts but they aren't usually very helpful best way other than grow or hydro store is looking for
