It might well be the light burn. COB lights are directional, hitting the top of the plants with full downward force. The light doesn't disperse like with MH or HPS bulbs. How close were the tops to the light?

Over half a metre seems far enough for me. At the moment, I keep my 2x400W HPS @25cm (10'') from the tops.
On the other hand, these COB's are really intense. I've seen them in action but have no personal experience with them. Anyway, back off a bit and see if things improve.
I also spent some extra time, pulling down some of the burned colas a bit, to make them more even with the canopy.
Smart move. How were you able to do it without cropping them? Applied some bondage and humiliation, didn't we?

No, I get it. If I were to embark on such an adventure, with so many different strains and equally many different ways of growing them, I'd also had no choice but to write things down.
But I always do ScrOG, always do hydro... Kinda boring, I know
Yeah, my ex called me Bilbo, not because of hairy feet, but because I dislike adventures of any kind.
