Nutes for hempy bucket - Can I mix my own?

Hi,

I am planing to do some hempy bucket grow.

Is it possible to just use my existing NPK and CalMag i used for soil grow? If so, what should i know about it?

It should be possible, depending on the type of nutrients. Can you share more about them?

And good for you, Hempy is the way to go! It makes life much easier.

I have guano tea for flowering, humic extract with NPK and CalMag.

I'm not familiar enough with those nutrients to say, but I'd guess that since it's tough to keep microbial colonies alive in hydro environments, plants may have a tough time absorbing those nutrients. As I understand it, in soil, you feed the microbes and in turn, they process the food into a form the plants can use. I'm not a soil grower though, so maybe someone else will chime in!

As far as I know, running organics in a Hempy turns into a mess. That being said it may work in a coco hempy. Hopefully someone with knowledge on this medium will chime in. Peace!!
