Hi all. I've been growing for a while now. In the past I've participated in a number of different boards under various names, but I haven't been doing much wrt cannabis online lately. Thought I'd check in here and see what's new.

You an Indoor or outdoor Farmer ?

I like both, only way to go for year around production

I grow indoors. I do pretty well in the spring, fall, and winter. In the summer I usually wind up unable to control heat, and my summer grows show that. I wish I had an outdoor spot to use (safely).

There is a guy selling 2 ac's here for 100 bucks, the window kind. Thinking I should get them for Fl.

They make a Stand alone on wheels with exhaust ducting, drip tray,
and I saw them last yr in KY for like 300
But of course I didn't have the cash to lay out.
They run 400-600 depending on the BTUs.

As much as I would like to air condition my grow, I could not do it discretely. I forget where I saw this originally, but take note:

An air conditioner that was in use on an unusually cold morning helped lead investigators to a suspected marijuana grow house operation in Golden Gate Estates.

Delfin H. Puentes, 39, of Fort Myers, was arrested Thursday and charged with marijuana trafficking -- more than 25 pounds -- and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Reports say Puentes operated a marijuana grow house at 1781 8th Ave. N.E.

Earlier this month a deputy on patrol noticed that an air conditioning unit was in use at the house on a cold morning. As the deputy approached the residence, he could smell the odor of growing marijuana. The house appeared to be vacant at the time.

Around 10 a.m. Thursday, a blue Nissan Pathfinder driven by Puentes left the house, traveling 51 mph on Eighth Avenue Northeast, where the posted speed is 35 mph. Deputies pulled over the Pathfinder and while speaking to Puentes could smell a strong odor of marijuana on his clothing.

Deputies asked Puentes if he lived at 1781 8th Ave. N.E. and Puentes said that he used to live there. Deputies asked Puentes if they could follow him back to the house, and he agreed.

A search of the house turned up an active marijuana growing operation. Deputies seized 50 marijuana plants, with a street value of $150,000, and paraphernalia used in growing marijuana.

There were also additional air conditioning units, typically used in operations to grow marijuana, according to deputies

One of the reasons I sooo wanted a portable/Standalone unit.
At one time the floor I used in Kentucky had a Pot Belly stove on it
and without it, there was natural draw that was vented 4 floors off the ground level without any telltale signs on the outside.
