OldManJJ Grows With The Mars Hydro FC 3000

Okay, the buds and trim are pretty much ready to jar, a day quicker than I was hoping but, it is what it is here in the winter. Cold and dry.

2.5 OZ of bud, maybe 1/2 oz of good trim and the rest of the trim from this plant is the flarf and sugar leaves that I will turn into edibles. 2 Plants total.

Total haul under the Mars hydro: 2.5 OZ bud and probably 3-4 OZ trim

Total Haul of the other tent: 23.1 OZ Plus 8-10 OZ trim.

Overall, it wasn't a terrible haul. Unfortunately, it was far less than the 3.5 LBS I pulled out of this tent on my first soil run.

Excellent! Do the Bovedas in there help during the burping process? I always wait until they get sealed up before adding them.

@InTheShed I'm not sure, I haven't used this method before. I always put the Bovedas in at the curing stage though so I figured I'd do the same with this method. We shall see what happens!!

Wow. That's pretty impressive McGuyver. When does the marketed version come out and can we buy it on the Zon?

So first time using this method eh? Do you have any sense yet for how well it works?

@Jon don't look for it on the zon, although, you can get all the parts you need there.

So far so good, I will know better in about a week. My concern is air leaks that could dry the weed out too much for a proper cure. Worth the experiment with a lower yield. Worst case, I make edibles with it, which I prefer anyway

Update:

The burp-o-matic 1000 is a success!

The harvest was left in the buckets for 8 days unattended, upon opening, everything was in the cure zone @60 to 63% rh. My daughter fluffed everything and said it was perfect! It's so much easier than manually burping jars every day! Fyi, with a 5 gallon bucket, you should easily be able to put 2 lbs of bud in each bucket. Mine were smaller and held about 4 oz. each.

While the yield was lower, this smoke is fantastic. Much better than the previous blueberry I have grown.

All in all, it was a great light and it worked perfectly in my 4x2 tent. I found the heat was easily manageable which made controlling the environment a breeze. I highly recommend this light for a small grow. It would do fine for a larger grow, you'd just need more of them. The size and weight of the light makes it super easy to dial in the height.

Hey great job and congrats on the quality of the bud! Especially since you managed a lot of this grow "in absentia." Lol. Boats and beers in Florida vs. manage the grow at home in the snow. Hmmm....
