? on tincture

so i get a pill jar smaller then your thumb) filled it with 80 proof alcohol and added a 10 bag of really good ground up bud.its been sitting for an hour,do you think itll be ready within 24 hours?i want my planeride to be interesting tomorrow, and ive heard of people making a tincture within a couple of hours.

James, I make tinctures periodicaly....but I haevnt used such small amounts of alc/weed. When I make it, the weed is VERY dry, almost to the point of crumbling. I grind it up as best I can, and toss it into the alcohol. I let it sit for a few WEEKS, the longer the better. I dont know how potent, if at all, a pill bottle thats been sitting for a day will be. I certainly hope it will work though, let us know if you feel anything. Only advvice I can give you is pop that shot on an EMPTY stomach, otherwise if there is any potency to it, it will be dramticaly reduced or not felt at all.
