Hi, I'm new here and this is my first time posting I bought a single 4ft T5 light with some special Sun blaster tube to veg my plants with but I found the volume of light ( if that's the right term) coming from it would be enough light after a few weeks of growth) the light was limited and although the area of light for small seedlings and young plants if fine I didn't feel that there would be enough light to support larger plants. I found an 2 tube 8ft t8 fixture with 4-4ft lamps in it that I was able to cut in half and make a 4x4 box of t8 lights I've suspended the T5 light in the middle between the 4 T8's, something like this below.

My question is Do I get any benefit from the T5 at all or does all the light I get from my 4 T8's drown out the T5?
Should I drop the T5 down into the foliage or hang it vertically or eliminate it and use it for clones an/or sprouts?
