One Plant Wonder Garden

I planted this big goose egg mystery seed last November 26th, in a 4" pot, and grew it on my desk under a 26W 5000k CFL with plans to make a bonzai houseplant, trimming and training as needed. It just kept getting bigger and bigger though, got very root-bound and then it started showing a few female flowers, so I transplanted it into a 4 gallon pot and fired up the LEDs 24/7.
The soil is ordinary hardware store potting mix fortified with medium & coarse perlite, earthworm castings, alfalfa meal, bone meal, garden lime & mycorrhizae.
When the plant reaches the top of the plant stakes I'm going to switch back to 12 hour light. Thursday, February 18 will mark 3 months since germination.

Feb. 5: Plant stakes installed and training begins.

This was taken today, February 14th. Since transplanting she has really taken off! Harvest looks to be slated for mid to late April. I've been feeding her a mix of GH Maxigro 3/4 tsp/gal, Ammonium Nitrate 1/4 tsp/gal, 2mL CalMag and pH Up. The gallon of solution started with ultra-pure water and after mixing measured 1048ppm TDS and pH 6.4.

Beautiful girl my friend. Welcome. :welcome: Looks like you have thing well under control. :thumb: That girl will be a beast once she gets going in flower.

Thanks, Bill284. The seed came from some pot I got from a 1st time outdoor grower, and while he didn't know the strain, he said he got it from a professional grower friend of his that helped and some of the plants grew to 12 ft. tall. I saw a photo of a Gelato here on the forum that looks like very similar genetics. It's definitely a hybrid. Maybe it will become more identifiable as the buds mature.

Awsome looking girl. I pop seeds and Unless I label everything I can't tell one from the other. Its not untill buds mature a bit i can tell the difference.
Being mystery seed can be a pleasant surprise on occasion. I've gotten a couple over the years and never had any luck my self. Can't wait to see that girl explode for you though. :thumb:

She's really exploding, katyjane420! Two days since last check and she's reached the top of the stakes. She was thirsty, too. Bumped the watering up to 750mL (was 500) every few days with all the new leaf. Soon I'll be giving her a quart a week. Switched the lamp timer to 12/12 from always on; this is the start of flowering. My closet isn't tall enough so now is the time.

I’m so excited for you! Keep us updated :)

Haha I planted just 2 days after you, me too was mystery seeds, wow that's a long time vegging!! Mine are in late flower now.
Your girl is very interesting, I would like to stick around, can't wait to see how she'll turn out in flowering.
Great job growing this beast

Eek! I went to switch up to my higher output LED (180W 12 Band) and discovered one of it's fans wasn't spinning. Took it apart and found all four spokes broken off right at the frame with the impeller & motor still attached. Dunno how that happened but I was able to fit it back in place and glued it with JB Weld. If it works (will find out in 24 hours after the glue cures) it'll save me $30 on a replacement fan.
Indeed, Stunger. Next weekend

Installed the brighter LED and viola! the broken fan is good as new. It must have been that way for a while- the good fan had a lot of dust on the blades but the repaired one didn't. Glad the fix worked. I don't want to burn out my very expensive lamp because it ran hot!
The flowering nutrient regimen has been initiated today as well; I prepared 3.8 liters of flowering nutrient solution composed of purified water, 7.5mL Bud Candy, 7.5mL Piranha, 7.5mL Tarantula & 7.5mL Voodoo Juice. The pot received 1L via a garden sprayer and gets this mix for weeks 1 & 2 of the flowering cycle.
Here's a picture of her today:

The plant is looking root bound, developing chlorosis of the lower leaves between the veins, and growth has slowed. Possible Mg deficiency? I guess I should have added some fertilizer to last week’s mix. This plant wants a 20 gallon pot, that’s all there is to it… Not going to transplant at this stage though, so instead mixed a gallon of nutrients composed of purified water, 1 tsp GH MaxiBloom, ¼ tsp reagent grade Ammonium Nitrate, 7.5mL AN Sensi CalMag Extra, 7.5mL AN Bud Candy and 3.5mL GH pH Up. Solution measured 1967 ppm TDS and pH 6.0; strong but its a vigorous plant and I want to stop the deficiency before it gets worse. Applied 1L to the soil via garden sprayer. Flowers starting to appear all over. Here's some photos taken a few moments ago:

Here's a shot taken yesterday, Feb. 28. Flowers showing everywhere. When I checked her this afternoon she was a bit droopy so I gave her a liter from the jug I mixed Thursday, however, first I topped up the jug with a liter of purified water to drop the TDS into the 1500 ppm range. Gotta improve the ventilation in there- it's a bit warm.

Almost 4 weeks into flowering now (24 days). I’m seeing signs of nutrient deficiencies again. Mixed a new gallon jug of nutrient solution composed of purified water, 1.9g of Advanced Nutrients (AN) Big Bud powder, 10mL AN Sensi Cal Mag Xtra (2.5mL over recommended amount), 7.5mL AN Bud Candy, 7.5mL AN Nirvana & 1.5mL General Hydroponics pH Up. The mixture measured 1204 ppm TDS & pH 6.4. The plant received 1.5L in 500mL doses over a 6 hour period.
