I am wondering if you are gonna do some more of that topping in the first 2 weeks of flower... I wonder how some other strains would handle it!

No the blue berry didnt come from a seed bank a buddy of mine gave it to me, it was a cross that a buddy of his did but im not completly sure on the exact genetics. Dj short lost his parent's to his original blueberry in 2000 since then he has went and re found some of his genetics and tried to rework the line. thats why the blueberry now is terribly finicky cant take lots of nutes and doesn't yield like it use to. Dutch passion put out his reworked line, they actually work together but like you said wont yield a lot and im gonna guess like i said nute sensitive.

The True Blueberry is the strain that he came out with after 2000 that he feels is the closest representation of what the gene pool use to be but still not the same top notch in my opinion.

if blueberry is what you like and are looking for some, a guy named Sannie does some great work, that were bred with the old DJ short genetics, aswell as some others that are top notch IMO.

And Cap i will probably do this again but only with deep indica, they seem to take topping less as a predator attack than sativa's do, and i think this is a great technique for when you have a plant that doesn't produce much but a top cola, everything on this plant turned out rock hard and i think it yielded WAY better than it would have. i think this is a purple urcle cross, it displays a lot of the same trait's and i have always loved this strain but had trouble yielding well with it so this is the first one to have done this well.

and now reading your question a little better no i would not top your plants once they start flowering, i will clarify this a little, it was a single cola plant to start with, about two days b4 i started flowering her i topped her and put her in darkness. so she hadn't started flowering yet.

i didnt know that aobut dp and dj short mine was a dp blueberry . that makes since of why i see these massive blue berry buds and cant come close to them. cuz they have the origanal. i am gonna look into that other blueberry. thanks for the good info
 
Well then i am going to have to look into grape god because i didn't take a cutting of it because i didn't have space and the buddy that i gave my clone to got PM and i wont take one back now... ooh well there are more out there

it def looks like grape good do you got room to grow a haze plant like a all sativa haze. i am very interested in seeing some one grow super silver haze. but def check out some grape god grows they look a lot like that. it is a indica dom blueberryxgod cross from Vancouver seed bank i think. your a top notch grower man. i have much respect for you.
 
Thank you friend, and yes i would love to do like 1 or 2 deep/pure sativa's im very interested in like black forest, or even more so a good Thai strain maybe something cambodian and or gold, i would love to do a SSH but i dont know which would be the right one to get a few differn't ones can be found.

and i wish more people thought like you did :D
