OrganicMan's Auto Indoor Soil Grow

Well its the end of week seven and all is well, I've got a lot of yellowing happening on all of the big fan leaves but as I've only fed them twice in veg and twice in flower I cant expect any less ill increase the food next watering. I haven't found any more male flowers on the bubba cheese which is good :) The Bubba was supposed to be a 45-50 dayer but that is well and truly out, mine look about 4 weeks in at week 7 so im thinking around 3-4 more weeks,

So as I said I'm going away for nine days at the end of the month and I cant see these ladies being ready in time and I cant really trust any one to look after them unfortunately. I was going to make a flood and drain table but had the idea of a dripper system instead. I'm hoping that I will be on the flush whilst I'm away so I can just fill the reservoir with phd water as i don't think my nutes will like being sat bubbling for a week.

Here a list of the parts I used:

Flood drippers x10 (two for each pot)
20mm rubber tubing x3m
16mm pipe x3m
water pump 600lh x1
air pump budget x1
golf ball air stone x1
20mm elbow x1
four way 20mm - 16mm pipe connecters x5
end stop 20mm x1
storage container 47l
Digital timer x1

I tested the flow and it takes around 3 minutes to pump 2 liters of water through so I'm guessing I'm going to run it twice while I'm away.

I still need to test the system with the plants and make a run off tray, I'm thinking of using a pallet with some corners and some floor secure sheeting to make the tray with a drain and another plastic tray underneath to catch the run off.

If anyone has any advice or input on this it would be greatly appreciated as this is my first attempt at making a self watering system.

Oh and a quick pick of the ladies :)

Hey :) well its the end of week 8 and things are looking good. It looks like the Critical + will be ready in around 10 days I gave the last feed today, just plain water from now on, the Bubba cheese on the other hand which was supposed to be the quicker of the lot is going to be at least another couple of weeks I think, loads of white hairs everywhere still but looking good.

So i think i will only have to worry about the bubba whilst I'm away which is a bit better than them all be left on there own :)
:Namaste:

A little update :) things are moving along quickly now so I will update more over this coming week. The Critical + is well on the way to finishing around a week left of flushing then the chop :)

Awesome :) Well it's pay day today so a little present for myself I think :) I'm going to leave the bubbas for a couple of weeks I think, the smaller one still needs to fill out & the other is still pushing out new white pistils but the critical will definitely be coming down next week :) I can't wait! Thanks for the advice mate much appreciated :high-five:

hey guys :) Well harvest is just around the corner :)

2 of the the critical + have fattened up I will be harvesting these on wednesday :) I had a close inspection of the trichomes with my handheld 100x LED microscope and things are looking good, some amber and the rest milky, a couple of days should do it.

This one smells very lemony the most citrus of them all

Hey everyone :) thanks for the kind words! I'll be updating with harvest pics next week as I'm still in Croatia at the mo ! All the critical came down before I left so it will be ready to jar when I return. The bubba are still going for the week on my self made dripper with just some phd water to flush then through I hope there ok :bitingnails:, I'll put some pics up of the system too. Hope all is well in your sparkly green world :)

Hey guys Im back :) sorry for the delay I had a lot to sort out after being away for two weeks but here are my harvest pics as promised :) :lot-o-toke:

The critical + is awesome super strong head high then into full body melt, super citrusy with skunk undertones and leaves me suitably stoned for a good hour or two :) I pulled 34g, 40g, 36g so at the lower end of the scale but i'm pleased considering the poor start I gave them. So 110g so far but I havn't weighed the Bubba cheese yet.

I will post more pics when I've weighed the bubba :) hope all is well in your garden :Namaste:

So finally finishing this journal. The Bubba cheese came in at 42g each so 84g. So my total is 194g around 6.9oz not bad but I know with a better start it would have been more.

Here are a couple pics if the bubba cheese nugs

The taste of the bubba is amazing cheesy yet fruity, with a hint of peppery bubba. I would deffinatly grow both of these strains again.

Well on to the next adventure with some THINK DIFFERENT from dutch passion :) I've heard good things about this one :Namaste:
