Outdoor Grow With Super Soil & Water Only Summer 2019

Just trying to keep moving forward. I’m still supercropping in the greenhouse in an attempt to keep them out of the roof. I swear.....I’m happy that they are growing well but the madness has to stop. Am I am acutely aware that what I am currently trying to tie and bend down is going to get heavier (I hope) with bigger buds and then .....well....then things change to a new game. So watching daily for the upward sprout to be complete.
The outdoor autoflowers all started to flower at about 30 days with the exception of fruit punch. She has made day 37 and may be just beginning. There are three different groups of plants started a few weeks apart
I’m still trying to get a decent video in the “house of green” ....hoping for harvest thoughts for the girls there.
Things are gearing up....buds all over....
Drying room almost ready. But do I have enough jars??

Busy busy busy!

Everything’s looking great!

Sometimes I feel, that I have a hard time, or that I don’t have enough time for just my three plants... I don’t know how you manage it!

But you are! And they look great!

Thanks for the compliment! But really I think Most of it is due to the ease of the supersoil. All I have to do is fill buckets of water and carry to several places in the yard, pick off a few dead leaves and flick some grasshoppers lol. The greenhouse has really been the biggest ongoing struggle with space. The bulk of my time is spent crimping and tying haha and trying to tame those ladies a little. Like I’ve said...they win..no contest.
Need a new plan for next year...maybe autos in the greenhouse and a couple in GIANT holes in the ground with supersoil to see just how big I can get them.

Hey Kanda - how do the gals handle the rain?? None of mine are totally exposed - the outdoor gals are under plastic but Angie did have a few nights under the skies. I'm watching for mold on the buds - I've picked off a few suspect spots just to be safe.

Most of the plants here are under open sky and it seems like everyone did ok. Did a good check of the older autoflowers because some of those are just one giant cola. Here is the largest buds outdoors on the green crack this morning.


Under sunny skies today with a light breeze.....but was cool enough overnight to see your breath.

Well I went to visit my back garden and found a large broken branch.....

So I put on my nurse hat and got busy


Nurse tape.
Syringe of honey
Spongy compression pad for comfort and breathability lol
Baler twine necessary for every job on the farm

The leaves all looked healthy with no drooping which surprised me a little. Slathered the arm with honey and tied her up. Fingers crossed the arms makes it as it was a nice bud.


I’m thinking I’m going to have to think about more support for them all because I’m even noticing them putting on weight in the greenhouse and not sitting the same as before.
Starting to see more purple in the buds of different plants also and the smell is wonderful.

Oh - Purply!!!! Mine are still green...what causes the colour change??? I have no idea what mine are so...I don't know what to expect !!

I believe it has a lot to do with genetics. I’m seeing it in the Bruce Banner and California Orange so far. The purple autoflowers are amazing to look at so it would be quite something to have one of the big girls be purple also.

@greenjeans i believe colder temperatures in the late stage of flowering also bring out the true colours in the genetics.

@Kanda your garden is looking amazing! Your just about there! I bet you can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Oh yes. I can see the light. Now that it’s getting close it seems like it went by really fast. I’m nervous about these final weeks though. Hoping I can get it all in safely and dried for cure. Been stockpiling cases of jars all summer

Weekend daytime highs around 60 degrees and lows of 45 overnight and of course some rain thrown in for good measure.
Thinking the temps should bring out some fall colours then?
