Oxygenating Nutrient Solution

Hi Everybody,

I'm planning on purchasing an air pump to add oxygen to my nutrient solution and to help with temperature control of the reservoir. I'm having great difficulty in finding out how often and for how long I should run the air pump to effectively oxygenate the nutrient solution. My instinct tells me I should run it for maybe an hour before each feed...? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks everybody.

30 mins to an hour would be great.

I know many folks will just have a res filled with water, running the air pump 24/7 so it's always ready to go after adding nutrients.
