I am 49 years of age and have used marihuana medicinally for 30 years. My doctor is aware that I smoke and does not say that it is wrong but will not put his good name on a prescription, so I am forced to buy it illegally on the streets. When I was seven years old I was in a serious car accident. I am in constant pain and take painkillers that have side effects and are really not that effective. Thirty years ago someone handed me a joint and it was the first time I felt relief from pain. I was relaxed and was able to have a good sleep. When I woke up there was no hangover feeling like the ones I have when drinking alcohol.
