Painting walls of grow box

If the mylar I ordered doesn't come today I'm going to paint the inside of my growbox. I know to use white but I've often read about using flat white. Wouldn't a glossy white reflect more light? also has anybody used spray paint?

just checked my cab walls one is flat white and opposite is mylar but dirty at flowerpot soil level about 5-8 inches away from FLAT WHiITE 11000 lux == lumen mylar side about 7500 lux clean mylar is lots better but realisticly it is hard to keep clean ....

I'm pretty sure flat-white has a natural gloss to it meaning, glossy-white IS flat-white.

well if I went down to my local hardware and asked for white paint they'd want to know If I wanted a flat white or a glossy white. Flat has no sheen, glossy is what you would use to paint a car or bicycle.

Flat white I hear is the best, don't know why it reflects more light but I guess it does. Don't put mirrors in there they are the worst, you would probably be better off with high gloss black.
