Paradise Diesel

Welcome wildbill! And alkhemist and mcloadie, saying you guys are awesome is an understatement! You really know how to make a newb smile :high-five: haha.

9 weeks into bloom, did a little flush with tap water since it has an ec. it grabbed the particles in the medium better than filtered water could.

any guesses about how much longer?

It really depends on what sort of stone you're after really mate - the more amber trichs the more couch lock you'll get.

There still look like there are a lot of white pistils she's putting out so if you left her it looks like she'll keep going for a bit and continue to put on weight, she's not done yet. It's just about timing it so you harvest when the smoke is where you want it, and the trichomes are the best guide for that.

Ok, good stuff. I do see pistils still unfolding, but not as rapidly as they did last week. Im hoping theyll be done real soon at this point. Do they ever stop growing? Lol

Damn..thats gonna make it hard for me to distinguish when to chop.

:bravo: wow...what can one say about this grow. this is one of those moments you just want to have a moment of silence and just experience the presence of a master grower/artist ... Thank you for sharing this with us. :goodjob:

:Namaste:

hi everyone! thanks so much for the majestic words! i usually dont share what i feed but here it is:

in veg i make a super soil, and add nothing. then in bloom i feed a 2-2-2 organic fish protein/emulsion along with a synthetic micronute supplement w/ humic acid. the fish stuff stinks and the plants are in the closet in the room i sleep in..but i learned to live with the smell.

i just wish they were bigger! so much work for two little girls. i guess its a good learning experience :)

some of the buds are turning pink! its so weird to see, it looks like a fucking alien creature! look at the top left of the short pheno in post #82. see the little pink spot?

im cutting em both down monday, which will be 10 weeks from preflower. or do you think theyre gonna get fatter still?

thanks wildbill! youll like these then. can anyone comment on the trichs? will it be foolish to harvest monday?

I can see a few ambers in the photos so I don't think harvesting Monday would be a bad thing. I can't tell from the photo what proportion the ambers make up though - i normally aim for around 10% amber but its personal preference really.
The way they're still putting out pistils it looks like they're just going to keep fattening, but I'd say you're definitely getting into the harvest window

Edit: forgot to say, amazing plants by the way! Very, very impressive

getting ready to say goodbye with the last watering/flushing.

bugs in soil..yuck. are they springtails?

Thanks ca215, much love.

Kingjohnc, i checked out the trichs with my 10x and theyve collected quite a bit of ambers. Its time.
