PeeJay's Perpetual Porta-Scrog Party

On a whim I decided to use some of the things I got in the mail from the contests to make a couple of special doobies for the upcoming holiday.

Selected a nice, well cured Sage 'n Sour nugget.

Weighed out 1/2 a gram of Sage 'n Sour wax.

Used the Space Case 2pc Grinder to chew up the bud. I really like this grinder-easy action and a nice fluffy grind.

Mise en place.

Perfect fit.

Lordy, Mr. Munny.

I was looking at that monster you have going the other day. Katie bar the door!

thanks, I've decided she will veg for another 3 months lol. got some wwf seeds in towels now to go beside her. hopefully there will be room. lol

Not much going on here. I took clones of three of the big plants in the tiny tent. It really isn't realistic to hold them any longer. As soon as the clones take they will be murdered. That is when two of the SCRoGed plants will go to 12/12. They will get cloned and flipped in about a week. I think I'm going to root prune the Panama male later and put it in a smaller pot... Anyway.

The SCRoGs are filling in nicely (with one exception.) Pictures from a week ago are above pictures from today just because it's nice to get a good growth rate - time it takes to fill a screen reference. They get water about once every five or six days right now. Nothing else.

Of the three clones Panama is the champ so far - looking healthy and putting out lots of tops.

The clone from the more purple Chitral pheno is a mess. It's never really gotten it's act together. It's growing, it just looks like it's been growing in a blender. I'm not expecting much from this plant and it will be one of the first two flipped.

Golden Lemon is the only plant from seed. It likes SCRoG. It will get flipped with the gangly Chitral.

The second Chitral clone is starting to look pretty good. The leaf sets are tiny but look healthy as can be.

By next week the clones should be rooted; 2 x Bangi Haze, 1 Pink Plant, and 1 5th Element. Clones will be taken from Golden Lemon and gangly Chitral and they will be flipped. Panama and the other Chitral will move to the 2'x4' to veg for a few more weeks.

I'm feeling lazy with respect to my plants lately. Looking at the state of the flower tent it makes more sense to flip all four plants at once and just concentrate on having replacements ready to go into flower when they are done. As you can see, the screens are all getting pretty full. I'll do the same thing as last week (six days ago, really) and post a picture from last week above pictures from today.

The whole tent.

Panama is taking to the SCRoG nicely. Some strains/phenotypes will do better than others in SCRoG and Panama is making multiple strong tops and looks happy and healthy.

The fussy but ever so tasty Chitral clone still looks like it's growing in a blender. It has never really recovered from the reveg and is my ugly-duckling.

Golden Lemon is going great and already sports a zesty citrus aroma.

The second Chitral clone is picking up steam and looking like she will put her sister to shame moving forwards.

Yup, I think I'm just going to give them another week or so and flip the whole bunch at once.

All the plants got their final movin' and tuckin' in the screens on Wednesday. I have started them on a 12/12 flowering light schedule as of today. I'm excited to grow some flowers! The screens are basically full. I'll pinch the leaders some while the plants stretch. The plant from seed (Golden Lemon) has been vegging 56 days. It's been 22 days since the plants were put under the SCRoG.

I'm sort of annoyed by the reveg Chitral clones. Things would be looking A+ in the tent if they hadn't been reveg clones, dammit! They are just too spindly-stemy to believe they will do much moving forward. For today's photos I'm going to post pictures from 22 days ago when the plants went into the SCRoG compared to today - flip day.

For the next several weeks it should not be too difficult to rotate the plants, remove them from the tent for inspection and watering, etc. In the end I think things will get rather crowded - time will tell.
