I have some ww growing in 4" pots, they are about 2.5 weeks old.I have spotting on the leaves and the leaves are dieing. After reading some of the other folks problems I know that the PH is to high it's about 7.5. Could someone please tell me the easiest and fastest way to bring down the PH to about 6.0 before my girls die. They are growing in 3 year old horse manure that has been limed, peat moss and vermiculite (1/3 each), water ph is about 6.5. This site rocks! thank you all!!

Garden Sulfur will bring down pH.

I have never used it, having to deal with low Ph and using lime for that.

Bur really, it sounds like your soil is too hot for 2.5 week old seedlings. They should be in a neutral (no nutes), soil till they are ~ 4 weeks old.

Thanks for the input DD, helps alot. Do you think it would be worth trying to repot in some different soil, maybe just add some peat? I also flushed them (pretty stupid) and now are yellow and larger leaves have brown spots and now I'm getting brown spots on my new growth, just don't want to loose them. They are going down hill every day. I'm really bummin.

Re potting might help, but get some seed starting mix if you can.

MG seed starting mix (No added nutes), works well. NOT the other MG soils.

Good luck, but they may be too burnt to recover.
