ok ,so the plant pictured and used for illustrative purposes is a photos bred strain called "buster".

it has been topped .

But what we are going to concentrate on is "tip turning".

getting all your tips towards the light.

ok ,so on closer inspection starting with the top picture, you can see this tip is on the bottom side of the branch, it will waste energy and stretch its way to the top if left alone .

but it is much better to simply carefully take the tip and turn her to the light,this way you can position her on either side and also save her some stress.

Leaf tucking .

this is covered elsewhere but while your here .

after my tip turn ,ive noticed a leaf also blocking light to the centre of the plant .

i could defoliate however i choose to leaf tuck this as shown in pics above ,just tuck her in !
simple!
