Hey All, Gorilla Girl is in the Closet. Now I know why she kept rubbing against the other girls...HaHa.
Anyways, tonight I start the Bud Washing & harvest on her. Looks like it will be a long night.
I got my New Light Meter yesterday so now I can better dial in my lighting next grow. I'll be looking for advice on using this thing when I set up my grow room soon.
I've been doing a search on "How to read EC" but haven't found anything. I don't know how EC works. I'm not sure if I even have EC on my meters as nothing says EC. I get readings for ppm, Temp, pH, & something in us/cm that I have no idea what that is. Any info on this would be helpful.
Bought a 2nd DWC Bucket with 2 - 8" Net Pots & some Root Riot Plugs. Ordered my 2 - 2' / 2 Bulb T-5 lights for the seedling / clone side of the tent. I think I just need a Fan & Filter for the tent to complete it.
Anyways, who are the specialists in DWC & Auto Pots ? Need to Tag them next grow. Never used either method before so I'm sure I'll need some guidance. In fact I rarely read a grow journal using Auto Pots. Not real concerned with those though as it's just a Coco grow with Auto Feed.
Anyway, for the moment I'm mainly concerned with how to read & understand EC. so any info on that would be great.
Gotta re-size a few pics of the Gorilla Girl prior to going in the closet. I'll post in the next hour or so.

Got it straightened out. They shipped the MEGA today with a Return Label for the CORE. They shipped mine to the wrong person & I got theirs. Glad to be getting the MEGA as I know I can hit PAR levels with 2 Mars Hydro TSW 2000's & that Mega in a 5' x 7.5' Grow Room. Probably just use the 2 Mars through Veg & then hit them with the Mega at Flower.
Got my T-5 LED's in the mail today also that will go in the Prop. Tent.

Started the chop & Bud Washing tonight. A little over 1/2 way & my back is killing me so got to take a break. Sure hope this Bud Washing thing is as good as they say. I'm worried about ruining my weed right now since I've never done this or seen the results. I can say it makes the colors look brighter but that's all I know so far.

Here's an update on the Gorilla Girl. I Bud Washed about 85% of her & saved about 15% for comparison to see if Bud Washing does anything. Here's some Step by Step pics of what I did.

Thanks . Looks like one of my better yields but wont know till she's dried & weighed. I don't bother weighing wet weed. Kind of a waste of time.

Bud washing makes a difference

I could see a difference in color right away as it brightened things up. Not a lot of dirt in the bottom of the bucket though. Mostly little leave particles from trimming. I'm really curious about the smoothness it's suppose to bring out.
Looks like you might be right about the Gorilla Girl being the biggest yielder. Afghan might beat her ... not sure. Less Buds but way thicker colas so hard to call.

Thanks Hav !!! Not as big of yield as you haul in but it damned sure will serve my needs till the next batch is ready. This grow does look like it will be one of my better yielders per plant. Only thing different is the lights & MC so not sure if it's one or the other or a combo of both.

Thanks bro. But don't speak so soon I just cut some bud rot out of my densest plant peach puree. Looks very localized so far. Stupid tropical climates.
