Welcome!

Rockwool & plugs both look super dry but we need more info... how often do you feed, what strength, can you shoot pic of nute bottle labels, are you using cal-mag?

I’m soil grower so hydro and NFT are way out there but more peeps will jump in soon.
Hi,
There is no fixed schedual. I just lift the cubes and if I feel they are dry I feed them usually once a day or every other day,
I use to feed the with 800 ppm for first 5 weeks then 1000 ppm for week 6th. I feed them yesterday with some Cal mag but don't see any difference. But since 3 days ago that I turned on the co2 tank they grow faster. Today is the last day of week 6 and I was going to switch to flower tomorrow but I was told not to do, due to the unhealthy plant and don't know what to do...

Welcome to the forum @behnam9537 :welcome:

You got me, I have no idea WTF is going on with those huge ass rock wool blocks, a first for me :passitleft:

...that being said  IDK ...looks like it could be a PH issue, or a cal-mag issue, or it needs to fed some veg nutes, or "C" all of the above  or maybe I need to go smoke and let someone else have a guess :lot-o-toke::lot-o-toke:

Hey @Emilya @West Hippie @InTheShed @Buds Buddy :hmmmm: have you ever seen some one grow like this before

A new one on me o_O

Hi MochaBud,

I tested the ph and ppm of the rock wool cubes and they are at 6.8 to7 and 1500. are they too high? maybe i need to flush them one time with RO water at ph 5.8 and some cal-mag then continue to feed them with nutes? or should i just keep feeding them with nutrients?

Thanks,

What i see are leaves tacoing which can be a heat issue. But im inclined to think its a pest issue. I have had similar reactions from mites. Have you examined leaves for signs of pests or eggs. Mites are tiny you might need a scope. 2c happy growing friend. :peace: :Namaste:

Hi @behnam9537 and welcome to the forum! Something very basic seems to be wrong here. I do think your plants are hungry and need to be fed every time water hits them. They also look like they are either starving for oxygen (are you aerating the water?) or its too hot in there. I would question the mix of the nutes... just the names say that you should probably be running core and grow at this point, but not being familiar with that nute line, I have no real clue.

Well, I'm just guessing here, cuz I've never seen someone grow in straight rockwool before...but I would imagine it would have to kept moist, at least, and treat it like a soil-less medium (coco or hempy) and PH at 5.5 to 5.8 with cal-mag and small amounts of nutes :thumb:

When I grew hydro, I use the small rockwool cubes to start them and put the cube into a net pot and some clay pellets on top and put it in my bucket lid, so ya I'd treat it like hydro, and get some cal-mag and adjust the PH :goodluck:

Hi Bill284

My room temp dose not get too hot usually between 73 to 83. but maybe pest issue. I have had some tiny larva and gnat fungus at the beginning, then i used some Dr. Zymes to get rid of them but i still can see some flies around. There is very a few of them but it could be the issue. I started to spray them again since yesterday, hope to get rid of them soon.
And I have a scoop, I'll check them out and let you know. Thanks

Hi Emilya,

My water temp is 70 to 72, is it too hot you think? and yes I'm aerating the water with an air stone pumps.
Actually Athena nute line is new in the market and i could't find enough information about it. I just go by the label direction.
Thank you,

room temp water shouldn't cause damage... might be a great place for pathogens to grow though. Since you are aerating, your leaves are telling me they are too hot... so what is your air temp in that grow area? If it is over 85F, you have a problem with heat.
Room temp is about 73 to 83. It doesn't go further that 83 cause my AC will start running at 83. The temp flowing between 73 to 83

That all checks out then... I think we need a flood and drain expert in here... but I am thinking along the lines of an earlier comment, that this medium needs to be kept wet, and fed at least a couple of times a day... like a hydro operation.
Exactlyyyyy, that's why I'm confused. I'm trying to micromanag everything as you see I'm still awake (it's 4 am now) but still couldn't find the problem.
Also I don't have enough root compare to the size of plant, do you think I should try to water 2 times a day? Look like it takes long time until the roots absorb the water

Well if heat isn't an issue & causing the Taco leaves, I'm thinking the light is a little too low or too bright . As far as all the rest of the stuff goes, follow Em's advice & you should be fine. I'm thinking this would be similar to Coco & I fed twice per day in Veg & 3 times per day in Flower.
