Marko Ivancicevic has relied on his medical marijuana prescription for more than a decade.

He was born with Fibular Hemimelia and clubfoot. He also has developed scoliosis and has had over a dozen surgeries in his lifetime.

"I was on prescription medication for a long time," said Ivancicevic.

"Really heavy narcotic pharmaceuticals and I didn't like the effect it gave me. It had a negative effect on my quality of life."

Ivancicevic decided to make the switch to medical marijuana and has never looked back.

"With the assistance of using medical marijuana, I was able to [remove pharmaceutical prescriptions] and I very rarely — even at this point — use a Tylenol or Advil," he said.

The provincial government's restriction on vaping and using medical marijuana in spots where smoking tobacco is prohibited has Ivancicevic upset.

"I was truly very disgusted," he said.

"I couldn't believe that just under four months ago, Kathleen Wynne made a statement that was quite the contrary to what she has done now."

Premier Kathleen Wynne spoke with media Thursday saying there should be restrictions on where vaping, the use of medical marijuana and e-cigarettes are consumed.
