Pineapple Chunk: my second grow

So this is my second grow. With all of your help I was able to save my first grow. The violator kush. Both from Barneys farm.

They were planted as seeds in february indoors under 1000 watt hps. 18-6 light schedule. Moved onto my balcony in southern ontario on mother's day weekend.

The weather has been 32 to 35° celcius and humid as ****. As well as we have had a few tornado storms. We covered them under a mesh tent for the storms.

How do they look. Should I top again?

I was thinking about bringing them indoor for flowering. As they are already between 5 and 6 feet tall in veg.
In ottawa they wouldn't be harvestable until the second week of October and I'm afraid I might risk a frost and lose trichomes.
Problem is I only have one 1000 watt hps and I think the bottom branches would not get enough light.
I only topped them 5 or 6 times then it started to split into 2 on it's own as if it mutated.
Advice?

Ok well I see a problem... or at least at my house it would be a problem...
You say you are already at almost 6' tall. How tall is your grow space? Better question... how high can you raise your lights?
Unless your growing in a space with 10 foot ceilings your gonna have a problem when switching to flower. Your best bet or at least what I would do at this point is LST. Tie the main tops down (bend them over carefully) and then switch them into flower ASAP. If height of the grow area is not a concern then sure... top them once more, give a week recovery, then switch to flower. Also if you are concerned about not having enough light to develop the lower buds then just cut them off. Lollipop them a bit. It will give more energy to the top colas and not waste it on buds that are never going to be great anyways.

I will definately consider that. I will do my research on LST. Thanks for the insight.

If I have to continue to grow them outside what are my options to flower them a little earlier. Build a tent around them?

So this was the final product. Harvested wednesday october 2nd due to frost warning tonight.

Sorry I havent been able to update more through the grow I have been working all summer.
